When some one like Reuters tweeted Oil jumped 8% today , i went WTF ?

yeah it did jump couple of Dollars on the last session of the week from the low!
FX is a Bitc*h!, No one keeps me wake all night but FX does!!

UJ may have some solid R at 118.7x. 4hr chart level. This could reverse things for EU to have a chance for gator's .0920 EU. Food for thought but its Friday and Equities have rallied along with Oil the past couple of days.

And, EU is holding/building support at my FLIP area at .0806

the spread is not the issue if the price is close enough all the time to get your SL then it is probably in the wrong place, have a think about it

I have missed tp and hit sl and B.E by less than 1 pip about 15 times the last two weeks... that isn't just putting it in the wrong place 15 times, its just taking the piss... its cost me more than 15% of my account (the difference of wins and losses not all 15% down)

0859/68 is always in the mix as a spoiler. its closed above on the weekly the past several.. 0944+ close would b a killer.. the next 50 minutes may give a clue.. a clue could even mean no movement. a bounce to 0846 likely (short stops below in jeopardy). not far from 0859.. 0920 is normal..it was missed

Could someone please point me in the direction of some simple explanation of risk on/risk off. Thanks in advance.

So is it simply in times of low volatility investors/speculators take more risks on the slow moving market. Is this correct?

I agree. Not sure if this has anything to support this but noticed......

Yesterday we put in a LOW at .0777 and today so far, its .0793. High (yesterday)after the news was .0900 and looking at this could put EU at .9017/20 for today's high to support gator's number if we are to go this direction today.

All I wanted to say is there was a clear PA there, now it's not clear, it's a gamble on a higher TF - may be a dead cat bounce part 2 with stocks or not, I'm not quite sure atm.
On lower tf's tho - there's no better pair for intra trading.
Critical/magnetic range is 830-890 +- 5p with yearly close in the middle.

There are better ccys with MUCH more drive and clearer PA than EU recently - Cable, Aussie, Kiwi, Loonie, Yen.

put the bait out and just watch the fish , quite entertaining on a Friday afternoon, hope you guys had a great trading week, I did, just with basic price action moves on the 4h chart, beautiful simplicity trading
