Another rejection at 117.300 resistance level....the pair seem wanting to visit 115.

It broke long term support. I'm out for a while.

Shorted at 117.673. I believe the 30$ crude is a psychological level and could trigger profit taking in crude and indicies.
(Not a trading recommendation, trade safe.)

Let's see how far would this bounce go from the 116.50-117.00 go on the daily chart although i am still quite not convinced it would turn around with full strength while the latest CPI is still threatened by the low energy price.

  1. bull crossing on the MACD
  2. RSI is returning from the oversold level.
  3. Oil went back up above the 29 from 28 today.

what's wrong with this pair?? always long term direction, there is no organized sessions like other pairs. you never know why it is going up while CPI is very low... what the heck!!

You're absolutely right. There were spikes after the NY close, now breakouts near the asian close ?
Probably this pair from now on is on my "no-no" list.

I think its just following oil like usd/cad (to a lesser extent) brent31+ wti pushing30, agree though, as I stated earlier this moves through all sessions.
Atm considering taking a loss or waiting for oil to resume bearish trend
don't get in love with pairs ... up or down is the same pip value

I took a partial loss (levered down a bit), currently we are a little below the 100 4-hour SMA and a key supply zone, but with Draghi, you never know.

look at previous daily candle for j225. The trend will either reinforce itself or reverse from here. Short now but could change my mind later today.

USDJPY found its ground as oil came back to 31.00 level.

Don't be surprised when marker does not give what you are looking for. If you think this is odd, you be more surprised when you notice ALL other pairs act exactly the same way towards the end of each major section closing. It's simply out of control.

This is the risk you need to accounted for when you are planning to carry over your position from section to section. If you ignore it, you get caught.
Saying not just for USDJPY, that goes for every currency pair you see on the board.
