I think that oil lost some importance for UC. I dont say that at all, but compare chart, was worse... When oil grow UC go down, but when falling, it dont rise like before...

Hmm yes for me this was the sell signal, but I looked on H4. There was a clear shooting star seen...
But I think maybe a little bit late now, at least for me.
It will most likely go back down towards the shadow 1.45 maybe a bit more down. But there I will position myself for long. As expecting further drop in oil price, USDCAD will bounce back up...

Yes, h4 and h1 look bad, but sometimes i dont belive h4 chart...

They may be different h4...

Or maybe UC will decouple from oil for a while. As Poloz mentioned, oil gives only 3% (? as I remember) of GDP. I dont know how will the speech affect UC, I am not an analyst, usually trade technicals. This seems sell for me in the short term, especially if closes below H1 100 MA. We will see.

UCAD goes to my TP but i closed my trades earlier due to volubility of the day because the news.

I am going crazy, i closed 1 with -50 pips

Definitely patience is cash here, how to got it...

I'm pleased a lot of us got in for the short trade. Personally I've just covered as it offered the opportunity to hit my (meagre) monthly target.

Frustratingly I took on a few CAD shorts weeks ago so I've got a bit of book balancing to do to clear the unrealised drawdown

Still holding sells off the (current highs).

Scroll back on the weekly and we got this level to sell off.

To me, it's just the beginning. Any chance I get, I'll sell rallies back into consolidation on the 5 min.
