Yeah, I thought we had a bullish setup today, but watching EURUSD atm, and it seems to be rising again. Limiting upside on Dax at the very moment.

London can be so predictable - against momentum from the bell, then with it - just hope it holds...I think we have the makings of a super bullish end of the week, NFP dependent, but technically it's on for sure.

I think it should hit around 10120, as that's the 20sma on the 4H, plus a Key Fib also. Its a confluence point.

I think 10,300 is easily within range.

what made you think it will go downtown?

GM - Dow's up ~275 pts from its overnight slightly lower hourly low which held in an old S&R zone.

Now its been unable to break above Wednesday afternoon's lows ~its 16,730 level / 76% retrace.......looking like a typical Freaky NFP Friday morning and time to take a break until the US guys stir things up....

I see the Dax like this now, and I may be wrong, but this is my take on Friday the 8th jan, NFP day. I think that we've now seen the end of the New Year shake out. We've hit the 76.4% fib from the August low and I think the big players will want to take equities up again as high as 11,000, possibly 11,500 for the Dax, and perhaps 18,000 for the Dow. There is a big crash brewing, probably for later this year, but we're not there yet. I'd personally be amazed if the Fed raises rates again this year, because if they do, they'll be raising them into a weakening US economy, the very worst thing that they could do. If we do fall further, which of course is possible, then the levels I'd be looking at on the Dow are the 61.8% at 16,290, and lower on the 76.4% at 15,880, and that would be a really key support level because it is also the Weekly 200ema, with the 200sma just below at 735. Much below that and we have a major stock market crash on our hands, fantastic for us, but disastrous for everybody else, so I do not wish it. Today's NFP will be crucial, but sometimes no matter what the data is, if traders want to take it one way or another, they will regardless of economic data. Time as always will tell.
