Hi all,

Here are the GBP/USD trades i took after new year. closed all the trade yesterday i was trying to scale out slowly but market turned too fast, end up closing with the SL, 1400+ pips. I think i'll be needing a wheelbarrow for all this pips in 2016 .

I use TMS Chart bro. Only that, I wanted to show guys which wave we are on in GJ. Remember that is a monthly timeframe and my TMS Chart have set it not to show in Monthly timeframe. Enjoy the pips and ride that wave. My target is 167-166 area.

I'm inspired!

A few years ago I wrote a whole load of EA's, and to no surprise I couldn't get a single one too work, and swore I would never attempt such a feat againt, however this system has whetted my appetite once more, initial results are encouraging, however I've been there before, but I'm going to give it a shot.

Anyone else looked at this?

I LIKE.

Very well documented pdf on how to create the TDI using the RSI and moving average of the RSI data. Doing it this way is also known as the Fozzy-RSI.

Note that doing it this way, the TDI is running in realtime and will not repaint like MT4 TDI Red Green. The Green, Red and Yellow lines will update on every price tick data received. Same simple rule apply: You must wait for the price bar/candle to close to confirm the setup.
You can jump in during the APB#1 and APB#2 (i.e. before the APB candle closes) provided there is Price Action setup and you let the TDI to confirm the Price Action.

The angle of the Green line will become subjective because of the size (height) of the sub-window and because it is set to read the RSI using the Close price, you must always look at the previous 2 to 3 price bars and determine the PA setup.

But if you set the RSI to the Typical Price (HLC/3), the Green line angle will be different. You should know this key difference.

It depends on what you programmed your Expert Advisor EA to do.
If you program your EA to manage your trades, you as the trader need to decide when to open the first trade and let the EA manage when to add trades in building a position in the market. This is just one key function of the EA as ME/ME trade manager. There a many other functions, too many and we should not discuss them here in this thread.

The EA can never do when human discretion is required in our trading decisions therefore, it is required that we know when to activate and deactivate the EA fundctions and do manual management.

Do you know the average entry price of your position as you open more new trades?
Once you know the average entry price for all open trades, you will know where the breakeven level is and manage your stop loss based on the average entry price.
You are not using MT4, can you code in the platform language?
PM me and I will send you the code for the average price indicator.

NFP in about one-half hour. I see the direction for most pairs are quite clear on the D1 charts
If you are trading with tight stop, better to get out and be safe. You won't survive the volatility.

Hi Em, Do you always stay out of the market around NFP?
Your trade order needs to be in the right place at the right time.

Yes, when I trade intraday H1 and below.
Also for my 4H swing trading, I usually will close my trades on Fridays and today being NFP, I either close before NFP or if I have my trades protected, I closed them just before London session close.
For my position trading on D1 chart, I keep my trades open using ME/ME strategy.

I believe you are talking about the net price? it show only when my positions are still open. I am using the marketscope 2.0 by fxcm.

I still have SELL orders using ME/ME for EU

so if D chart looks like uptrending, it's better to get out before NFP?

I have to say this is an incredible thread, I have read about 1100 pages of the thread and plan to finish it soon. I mostly trade intra day but looking at trading more swing trading and position trading in the future.

Big thanks to big E. and all the other incredible contributors, I hope I can add to this thread soon, and maybe look at doing BPP on one of the pairs like emmanuel7788 does, I also want to try the me/me entries and I have been getting my head round the concept and I Like it.
