a 4% rally in the CAD isn't that much considering it has declined nearly 4000 pips in 18 months

Hey all, got lucky on this move with a couple EU shorts. Took profit and left a 1.093 position in at BE... Whew... But I'm all mixed up. I usually play USD strong or weak. Now all pairs are divergent and correlation is out the window. Anyone wanna shed some light on the new normal or whatever it is in this here 2016? I was ready to play risk aversion with falling markets, but then all the pairs seemed to scatter in different directions. I was like quoi? 😅

Its a new day and so maybe a new trend. 08720 is crucial as that is weekly open. It may fight there for weekly candle bar to be bearish or bullish.
Rest personally I want it to go till 08300 today.

USDCAD

drop to 3600 is conservative TP level, ideally its a drop to 3460 (monthly swing high)

similar to how 3460 dropped to 2830 (previous monthly swing high)

Agreed... Getting close. I bet it bounces a bit. I'm not for sure it'll crack it.

I have placed a number of small shorts from 810 to 940 area..im just not sure than 769/10 is where the overall downward movement will end...i really believe quite firmly that we have not seen the lowest of this downward euro yet :/ are you suggesting the trend is change to upward or are you just playing the retracements until we get a clearer picture?

I have been studying these guys trades for some time now and he is no more than a gambler. he has rarely followed 2% stoploss rules which professionals do. He has got lucky in the first 30 trades he took. 28 out of 30 proved to be winners. don't follow him otherwise you will go from rags to more rags and even more to more more rags
