I'm expecting Dow support to come in around S2 today which is just below 16,950, but how solid it'll be remains to be seen if we get there. Otherwise the markets are looking perilous if the current support level breaks down on the Dax and the Dow, with the Dax potentially dropping back to the 9,300 level. So all to play for atm.
Okay, Dow just hit my support area, so we'll see what happens now.

There's nothing supporting the Dow now that I can see now that 17,000 has gone. Next is the 50% fib @ 16,616, then the 61.8% at 300, and finally the 76.4% @ 15,895, and those are all taken on the Daily chart. The Dax however is right on the Daily 61.8% which I've got at 10,120. This level could lift both the Dax and Dow, but if it breaks, then we're going to fall further.

Wait for longs until 1965 in the S&P is bid, technical buying could start there.

10,120 is the December 2015 Low. This morning's new low at 10,114 is at ~61% of December's impulsive down move......an equal drop would be down to 9570!
