This has OrderSendError: 4110....
I have no problem dealing with these pop up error messages but the EA is not opening any Long trades ! ! !

error code list attached - FerruFx told you that there was a problem - I assume you have different magic numbers on each? The screen shot appears to be showing sell trades in the background and the far right is saying 1 long & 30 short trades?

I suggest you remove the EA from the charts and restart platform. If you have trades open it will not remember them so you will have to either close them or monitor them manually.

Place the ea back on the charts with new magic numbers for each and restart or reset each day. If you are trading 24/5 you will get this problem continuously, it is a glitch in the software. Good Luck

Hi,

Can anyone help?
I have placed all 4 versions of the EA on the 1Min Charts since last two days
but not even a single entry.
All I am getting are the popup Buy and Sell Alerts.
Is there any setting that I have to perform so that the EA enters the trades automatically
or am I supposed to trade manually whenever an Alert Pops up.

Your help will be highly appreciated.

Hi johnblake,

It would be helpful if you showed your settings and any error messages you are receiving in the journals. Do you have all the correct indicators loaded?

Doesn't really say much - try removing the EA from the chart. delete it from the platform, then reload it. Make sure all indicators are installed )quantum and Quantum OBOS if using 1.6.1.

I have never tried the alerts version myself.

Try loading up an older version and see if it works. Make sure all the correct boxes are checked to allow live trading.

Those are two different indicators.
Quantum will show you highs and lows broken after 325 bars. All of them.
The Stoch quantum will show you the same but only the ones that are overbought and oversold. You chose the levels you want.
In this case you showed, the bar broker the high but the stochastic was not overbought. So it did not confirm the sell entry.

This EA seems to work really well when you disable it around news events. Why are more people not using it?

as most of us work we're looking at a fully automated system. i agree this does work well when it works, perhaps a news module in the EA is an idea for improvement

You should read this thread. The newest version is m13-6-19. Use the most recent set file which you can find from the downloads page.

whenever i turn off the auto trading...i get blasted with the "alert" that my broker doesnt allow me to use EAs

is it possible to turn this feature entirely off?

I found that some time it close order even the total trades in negative result.

Mate, this is EXACTLY what happened to me today. I have no idea why. I did play with the parameters and probably stuffed something up there.

I had a good 10 open trades, all losses, and waiting for the price to pull back. And then, bam, all trades got closed.

I am using version 1.6.1 from the original creator of this thread.

I need that this EA only runs for an X number for cycles as well. Say, it runs for 12 hours straight and it sells on red boxes, then it buys on blue boxes (those are two cycles, if I understand correctly?) and then when red box comes again the EA does not do anything.

So, yeah, I need to know as well what is the parameter that only closes in profit and the parameter for the above.
