Great stuff Mastermmind! For our friend with the $850 account - what are you hoping to achieve? What sort of return are you hoping to get?. I will post a backtest based on an $850 starting balance on a pair using a strategy I use successfully. These will be considered "unattended" as there is no intervention on a backtest.
Also, if you are using any of the EA's here then I highly recommend that you either remove it from the chart and reload it after your trade cycles have finished or stop and restart your platform EVERY day!.
Also these EA's have n o memory, so if you change a setting, stop the platform even change time frame while the EA is running on that chart then it will not "see" any open trades and will start a new cycle which would be a disaster in the making for such a small equity base.
The result I will post are based on a quality rather than a quantity approach. It is really a stretch at $850 start up capital but you will see that you do make it through (based on the last 12 months - and to be honest backtests on MT4 are really useless but can help in forming an opinion on whether to persist with an approach or otherwise). All I can say is similar to MM - do your homework and decide what is worthwhile for you.
Report EURUSD 1M - and interestingly enough this is totally wrong for the final day of the test where it shows as a sell when in fact the EA opened a buy and has since closed it for a nice profit - again MT4 backtests are really useless - the GBPUSD was also successful over this period as was the EURCHF.
Please do not request the set file as it will not be forthcoming. This strategy can work if you are willing to put in the time and effort to find what works for you.
