That's because Warren Buffet doesn't trade, he invests.. but I know what you're saying.

Day trading is stimulating to me, although as with everything in life that you do 60 hours a week for 5 years... it loses its "everyday" thrill.

Still, I get a big thrill when I take a big risk (5-10% of my risk capital) and make a HUGE profit (10-30%)... these trades are rare, like 3-5 times a year.

And still get a little bummed when it goes wrong, despite knowing that I should be emotionless, some amount of emotion will always be there.
Be hopeful in a winning position, and fearful in a losing position.

What about March 2011 when everyone including me thought the Yen would tank due to the Fukushima Earthquake disaster.
In stead the Yen went stronger than ever because of the multi billions pay out from American insurance companies who had to buy Yen for the transfer of money to Japan. The whole financial world was involved rescuing the yen but I lost $14,000 while I was sleeping and dreaming of big profits!
Fortunately I still ended up with a profit that year.

But talk about Emotionless? It was good that I didn't have a gun that following morning when I saw what happened.

Well yes to invest you have to make a trade

But the term invest is more recognized in the community as trades that take years (which might be why Buffet says trading is boring)

That's a sad story, at least you survived. I made a little over $15k this month. MaxDoom makes that in one day, sometimes.

might be an opportunity to AUDJPY carry trade if the UJ long syncs up with AU bottom
