Not at target yet it climbed go negative a few pips now back to plus 6. Your a great help. I'll take a look at that pdf soon

yes back test always, do it with couple pairs. don't rush the process and you will understand, it will save you alot of money.

Hi Pete,

.. that post#2622 was in Oct 2010 and till today both trading methods 21/233 and 5-Method remains the same because we are trading the trend on the chart timeframe we chose to trade. When we want to trade with multiple entries, we trade the higher timeframe charts like the H4 and D1 and we build up our positions with multiple trade entries with controlled and manageable risks.
For example, when we trade setups on D1 chart, we build up our position by adding multiple entries trades in the lower timeframes like H1 and M15. But when we do this, we must avoid opening add-on multiple entries trades at too close pips distance from the previous trade. One way t do this effectively is to use the Average Daily Range (100 days) and place add-on trades at 0.5ADR from the last open trade and also use a time delay of at minimum 4-hours from the last open add-on trade. Do Not add-n too many trades in the same day. Set a maximum number of open trades per Day according to your risk model.
Always have a hard stop loss for the basket of trades and know when you need to cut losses when market goes against you. Use technical stop loss method like the recent swing high/swing low or the 2-bars look back.
Know the Market Type of the currency pair when you want to trade with Multiple Entries / Multiple Exits ME/ME. You must avoid trading ME/ME when market is in sideways narrow range market type.
You need to practice this ME/ME for quite long time to get a good understanding of how it work and feel of the market. Also very important is develop your mental fitness to cope with the money management strategy, it is conditioning your mind for such trading strategy when you are trading with larger account size and to grow your wealth.

Hi Pete,

Do not plan your trading business with such high % profits. I start with a modest 10% target profit for every 20- trading days (not month) and grow that gradually in a safe, controlled and manageable way. The percentage gain is not the only measure of a winning trading system. There are several other things we need to look at when we want to define and build our individual own winning system. managing drawdown and recovery is very important and these has big impact on the trader's mental fitness.
It needs discipline to follow this proven money management strategy. It took me about 2 years to learn and practice in live market before I went live and trade with real money. It is working for almost 6 years since.
Think like an investor and trade like an investor. Forget about wanting to make fast money in this forex market, this is one reason for the 95 % statistics why traders fail.

trade the HTF like 4hr and up, use the LTF to get in the market, don't change the basic setup that Big E left us with and back-test and forward test this method with minimal risk if you must trade. it's wise to be prepare for every opportunities that the market give to us. it will take some time but experience build confidence that will reward you later, don't be the the rabbit be the turtle.

What setting ur looking for, I just use the build in TDI indicator in Forex Tester 2, only concern about FX 2 TDI indicator is that its a repainting version, but I got used to that

Thanks emmanuel, but I know the settings already. The settings for other platforms are different than the Synergy PRO TDI. I compare both. On the other hand the Forex Tester 2 don't allow change the settings like the settings of Synergy PRO TDI. The RSI_Price_Type and the RSI_Price in Forex Tester 2 does not appear. I have not other option than concentrate more in PA than TDI.

I'm sorry it might be stupid question. The reason behind not to ''add-n too many trades in the same day". We might miss good opportunity to add position in 15mins or 1hr chart when market is at high speed.
And another question ''set SMART targets - 40% , 60% and 100% of the average weekly range (52-weeks) for your 4H swing trades.''
How to get average weekly range (52-weeks). Is there any 52 average weekly range mt4 indicator?
