realfx, I am sure that you meant no offence. I am new to this thread too and to understand what D1 is saying you need to first read post 1 and then have a scan through the other posts. Basically he is keeping his trading posts as simple as possible so that they are quick as he is posting in real time so that others can see his trades as they develop and not after they have ran.

Understand that everyone else who contributes to this thread understands.

HI realfx, if fdax is not real, why are you still trading?

I think you need to see the bigger picture where price wants to go and why it wants to go there.
For example this week, when price hits 10138 it wants to go long, so you only look for long setups and hold that long till it touches some daily/weekly fibo or SMAs or BRN, and then look for short setup. And continue the cycle. :nerd:

And also you can see other forex pairs and Indexes that have correlation on Dax for direction.

Really tricky setup today. I don't like the V-shape reversals as shown on Daily.
Good chance it could rise, could go partially lower, or worse still go back to new lows. I personally think the last option is the least likely.

I'm carrying a mini long trade from overnight from 10720, which was when I went to bed. Had I set a TP of 50, it would've cleared.

I see immediate supports at:
10621 (Daily 38.2% Fib)
10600 BRN
10553 20sma on 4H
10479 50% Fib for recent 15 Dec and 17 Dec Swing Low/Swing High.

Key for me to suggest this is going back in uptrend is if we can break above the 7sma on Daily of 10707. Could see a ring-a ding ding battle there.

EURUSD looks in weak uptrend, but is around 1.085, which is still ok for Dax to go higher.

yes but look at dow it went under 17500 it is at 17300 atm so this may take dax low according to me.

The market is 24h, depends on the broker to offer 24h price data and trading or not, maybe you can find a 24h broker to offer you data % trading.

yes but as i know dax isnt shown for 24 hours, if it is i would like to know from where i can see it.

Yes, it can go down, but it needs to break all those supports I mentioned for me to have a bearish view. I also think we may see the gap closed in the early session on the Dax today.

As Pattrader says it is 24hr but some brokers freeze the chart at the end of the day and then start it again at Frankfurt open. This is why there is very often a gap at when you think is the daily open. I have just recently discovered this too.

My broker freezes it at the end if the day but I use MT4 from another broker to see what has happened over night.

Long 3 mini's on Pre-Trade open @ 10660. Long 1 from overnight. Closed 2 mini's at +15. Closed another mini at +20. Still have one live to carry through to 10707pts.

The Dax Futures on the Eurex Exchange trade from 08:00 to 22:00 - any prices outside of those hours are "Brokers Guesstimates" with huge spreads
