eu at 1.0902 at the moment,, after the fed hike it bounced to 1.1010, 76 pips shy of 1086. since ny closed below 0945/46. the London and level at when rate raise was announced. that close isn't doing much for my 1086. some support at 0885/77.. strength unknown. also 0795/88 can be a norm, 1.0749 was missed on the way up.. that ny close below London has made me acknowledge 1086 will be much harder to reach if at all. i still wait but it may be for nothing.. one may want to discount it now.

Nothing I can live off yet.....

Give it another 2, 3 or 4 years

Then I can just pump my entire city check into retirement

Not looking forward to taxes this year....both for good and bad reasons

Eur/Usd didn't act as the whole market expected, the pair made a reversal from today's high 1.1010 and falling below 1.0900 level which is now become the important resistance handle, but Eur/Usd is still in the range.

norm was 0987.. in that short leg. the 0980 is the b/o point.. if you wait for the retrace to enter its not till 0987, (0795/0987) this single leg one is less trustworthy than a 2 leg one agreeing.. 0866 0841/39 next up

Hi, Good morning, I need help...
My review base on H4 and Daily with indicator Ichimoku cloud and Monthly Pivot point

Eu could bounce back up at this point
Monthly Pivot @1.0723
Cloud Span B @1.0775
towards monthly high 1.10++

Can also potentially fail at Pivot...
towards monthly low 1.05++

If EU fall below pivot and stay lower than pivot for the rest of month...
this could leads to continuum bearish trend to @1.02

So that's why I need your help to confirm this view...thanks

I didn't trade the event today, never do the big ones like this, I see a lot of traders talk about big risk big reward on the day....I disagree. I'm in the camp of lower risk bigger reward on the money positioning that takes place afterwards. I am a firm believer in the idea that during certain periods the market is manipulated from a to b all action in between is noise...My system is based on key volume points and then pattern formed on that day.....I then try to explain the action fundamentally as to why I have the signal I have. Today I"v got a strong sell in e\u. I am looking for 1.0750 within the next 3-5 days and 1.0600 within the next 7-14. System only gives 1-2 signals per month usually, but when it does its rare that targets are not met. My fundamental take is that now that fed has raised (note market did not implode) and still expects to raise next year as dot plot hasn't changed much, we are going to start pricing in more hikes. Euro did just announce qe extension a couple weeks ago and with the extreme positioning I think traders needed more data to really wrap their head around what is going on. please don't give me any flak for trying to be a commercial member....I am simply stating my take on what is happening for what it is worth. I have been trading part time for a long time now since my early 20's. Union Ironworker from local 512, out of St paul, mn......I have taken every wrong path u can imagine, came to the conclusion that big money must send signals to coordinate somehow and ended up with a strategy that trades 1-2 times per month with high accuracy......I will certainly own up if wrong, wouldn't be the first time.....Have I cover all the FF basis?..haha... that said, I expect slight spike with euro open and then down down down......

Hello everyone,
The first signal for the day is as follows.

Buy EU once the price closes at or above 1.08628 on 5m. I'll long for .03 lots
TP 1 1.08803
TP2 1.08942
--------------------------------------------------------------
Once the buy order is filled, then i will give you the sl for the buy, which of course would force you to close the buy and open a reverse sell for a bigger lot.

I'll then sell for .1 lot if the reverse order is triggered without any of the tp's for the buy being hit.

I think yellen's speech was telling as well...They are raising because they feel they economy can take it as they are still accommodative. But more importantly because "if" inflation were to pick up fast, it saves them from having to raise rapidly, which would surprise and send the economy south in a hurry, which would take away from all progress to this point....my take is as long as data doesn't fall off big time, the fed will stay committed to the dot plot
