So
nzdjpy had gap 2,6

so for you 2,6 gap is an early stage for a reverse gap Then ?

decipher the strength tables, one lags more than the other. gap or gap shift is further filter / to further confirm direction of movement. either strong getting stronger/remaining strong/strong getting weaker ; , weak getting weaker, remaiing weak /weak getting stronger.
from jarfx's excel file this 'trend' can also be seen. from there you decide to buy the strong sell the weak or sell the strong and buy the weak. jarfx's excel makes it visually easy to read.

It is much more easy to trade the GAP with the trend and you have less risk!

Hello Jibala!

Please your help is appreciated but confusion presents itself. I was under the impression we had agreed on the definitions posted on page one:

"Currency Strength (Strength) represents the average of Relative Strengths of a single currency across all currency pairs expressed in a range of 0 to 9.

Absolute Strength represents the difference of the Currency Strength of the base and counter currencies of a pair expressed in a range of -9 to 9. (This has been also described as Gap.)

Gap is a measure of the difference (movement) of an indicator across a fixed time frame. (Currently 30 minutes). This would indicate Momentum."

It is very confusing to have multiple definitions. Can we clarify which is correct and proceed forward with one definition? If it is different page one should be adjusted. Clarity is important to a plan.

What's your problem? What you do not understand and where do you read about multiple definitions?

No problem. It was the attachment you posted. Just easily confused. With all the language differences it can be challenging for me in this forum at times. Worried I may not be the only one. it is really nice to have everyone using the same definitions. It could affect the labeling on the dashboards as well as our discussions. There should only be one.... Gap that is. Thank you for your help. I appreciate you.

All the signals look perfect for reversal, If you enter the trade and get a pull back of 15 pips then to get 4pip , why not getting the 4pips reversal?

Or of course like I said before, there are other formulas that @JibalaPasan use. Absolute strength can be calculate in many ways

P.S. That's one of the most positive result, since the pull back wasn't to big
