USDCAD

- Talk from sources of excessive volume going into USDCAD (& even oil) early morning at higher part of the range
- consolidating heavily
- possibility of a spike high o run for bear stops and then a crack downwards. Just in case
- just Added shorts @ 3300 to previous 3412, 3395, 3365 shorts . All stops @ BE @ 3365

I think cad is going to be taking a ride downward past 3300 again shortly..holding current shorts and added to them at 372

I'm in long from 1.3332 price has consolidated but seems like the trend is still up for now. Might close it off before the weekend

I agree, it's probably headed for the resistance at 1.3435.

I agree that we will see a Monday gap of maybe 20 pips at most, i don't think this gap is good to open a long or close one out of panic. Holding my current shorts and looking to add to them if the peak resistance gives a good indication of reversal. Im hoping to put a stop loss around there as well because any stops set too loosely could hurt next week with all the rate statements. I'm just hoping to see a dip back to 3300 as a tp before that all happens

- So increased volume was prolly from bulls.
- Oil not sustaining highs
- All shorts out @ BE @ 3365. Now Sitting on sidelines (ofcourse waiting to short; No longs for me (definitely not until December 16th)
- 1.3400 looks good to start collecting shorts again (for aggressive traders)
- On upside, break of 3460 nullifies all bearish bias & bearish patterns seen lately , on TF's below W1
- On downside, 3250-3280 zone now a Grade AA SUP zone. Break opens gates for downmove, for 3210, 3100, etc

Lets WnW, how 1st week of december positioning is.

I am short on UC in 6 positions at 3360'sh
I believe we will see 3280 for fresh longs for higher up or major correction to follow depending tone Yellen brings at hearings weds Thurs

Thanks for the insight saint, and davit, good luck as I'm also open in 6 positions. Would love to see a 3280 prior to a 3465 retest. I certainly won't be opening any longs if that 3280 range is seen.

While the two of you are here I just wanted to thank you both for the work you've put into your threads and the amount of knowledge you've imparted upon this community. While perhaps not directly having taught me anything in particular I feel as though you both perceive the game very similarly to myself and I appreciate your style of writing. Pardon me for thanking you both in the same post but I may never have an opportunity to do so again.
ps. In keeping on topic I will be short USD/CAD on opening.
