It's a sort of numbers game
Price had been rejected 4 times from the 1.4812 area but only once from the bottom of the swing at 1.4697 which made it a soft stop to me. So my theory is that the bears are stronger than the bulls There was also some good momentum in the APB especially if you look at H1.

Yeah, I like your bold moves. Besides, in a trending environment, we are expecting PA to take out the previous swings, don't we? But it still takes courage, because PA is stubborn and stalls sometimes near those swings. Great trade!

I believe i see the "4-bars reversal like the Master Candle MC[3] " forming on NZD/USD weekly chart. I've been studying this pattern and i believe that is what is going to happen at the end of this week. :nerd:

if you are talking about 4H trading ... from the first few hundred posts I remember, Big E using 1H during news time and 4H charts during nights. Does "4H trading" mean you will decide according PA and TDI on 4H charts only? Of course one has to look left, but don't take 1H situation into account? This would suit me well due to a full time job...

Do you close your trades in the night?

Well, look at MN Line Chart below.

Follow Weekly and Day closely, wait and see what happens and try not to think ahead of what the market will do.
There is WRB in Weekly and Day charts.

Hi,

I don't trade the H1 chart much these days. I don't follow Big E trading hours what he mentioned in Post#1.

Most of my trades are 4H swing on H4 charts and Position trades on D1 chart.

For 4H swing tradings, I keep my positions open during the week and this can last 2 to 4 days.

For Position tradings, my positions can run for many days and into weeks.

4H means 4-hours and not H4 chart timeframe. By 4-hour, I need to check my charts once every 4-hours interval. Not necessary that I must wake up to check every 4-hours, but any time during the day is okay when I missed one 4-hour cycle.

For those having day jobs, the best thiing is trade the Day charts and you can open trades any time during the day on H1 charts.

Not a great day.

2 30M Signals on GBPCAD and GBPNZD. Both following previous Day(s) close. Away from WOL/DOL/EMA's. No cigar

Still a bit unsure on my template.

I had decided on 30M with a 4H TDI under but I'm now thinking this x8 multiple is a bit too high.

30M - 1H (x2)
30M - 4H (x8)
1H - 4H (x4)

The last one sounds best I guess. What do you think? I liked the 30M for a bit it gave some signals early. Like EUR moves today were a bit easier to trade in 30M than in 1H. Initial move was strong and then comes the question do we chase a 'big' bar or not?

Last picture is a template of my trades I want to look for...

I gotta say, when I started this TMS system a few months back I did not know it was going to be so hard. But I did not have much experience in forex in general so I guess it makes sense.

I've not been able to trade for a while. Since I'm in the UK and trade LO/NYO, I have to trade around a day job which unfortunately, has to take priority My workload has skyrocketed lately and I've spent a fair amount of time overseas as well, but I'm hoping this is only temporary. Hopefully I'll be back and active again in the new year. I still see lots of people having plenty of success in here with the basic method. Keep it simple guys! Let the probabilities play out over time... Big E knew what he was talking about!

Just closed a few more trades for this week and start winding down and stop trading in the next few days.

Starting in week 51 Dec 14 onwards till the New Year, market liquidity will be thin so it will not make any sense to trade the 4H swing.

My MT4 account summary below:

Lower timeframes don't give early signal. They give retracement entries but only after the trade setups in the higher timeframe are confirmed.

Read Dr Alexander Elder book on Triple Screen System trading technique.
