{quote} Hi George, Some great thoughts there, and I think I understand what you're looking for. But, that would require substantial modification which sadly I don't have the free time for right now Nevertheless, I will continue to give it some thought and if I can crowbar the code in easily I will do.

Thanks as usual Andrew - just take your time. There's a manually tedious way to do it right now, and CJA is also looking into how it can be done.

Cheers

The old version does not work for me anymore either. You have to get the latest version. I think HK may have put an expiration on his code.

Hello zlamp,

Sorry to read you're having problems.

First up, please check you are definitely running version 1.28 by adding MADdash to a chart and checking the About tab:

Attached Image

Sometimes files get added to the wrong folder etc, so please make sure to check this way.

If you are definitely running version 1.28, please give me some more details about "not working". Screenshots and any messages in the Expert log will help.

Congrats for the indy.

Question: Why don t use Close of Daily, Weekly Monthly in percentage the point of reference? All the calculus it s made in percent related by this levels. Beside that Round Numbers are the strong levels to get in and out.

My template, maybe you will have some inspiration. The logic say that all the info have to be easy for all. The Big Picture it s there and it s more simple then we think.

What I mean is instead of TF's we can have percent hit, not hit, break, correlation between pairs in percent. Look at any normal site, Bloomberg, Reuters, they don t speak in terms of MA. They speak in terms of percent because the profit came in percent profit, not in MA projections.

The economy go in percent not on MA or other style of average projection.

Everything it's on percent.

You can say we are in random. Not true. It s butterfly effect that create the wave. MA ti s a way to "see" but the real and clear levels are percents and round numbers. Not because I say so, just because normal people think in simple equations and the "winners in this game" are not so sophisticated.
If I'm a'n Old Money loser, I will think in simple terms when I trade. 1.2 to 1.25

That been sad, its time for a profit taking

Edit: I now have three columns of low numbers so I guess I must be in slow mode today

I'm sure this has already been covered about a thousand times but I can't find it yet. I have some really large numbers on my MADash. Why?? From what I can see it is just a matter of time to upload. It's been an hour so far but I'll leave it on overnight. Let me know if I am missing anything!
Thanks and great work

Yep, I realise but after 15 hours I have the first three columns with low numbers and the last two still with high. I have force loaded the historical data but I think maybe this connection is a little slow today.

Hello Honestknave,

Hope you're fine there. You have already done a lot of remarkable works for the community.

I had another small addition request for MADDash. If possible plz add an alert option as below, in your free time:

  1. Alert on current candle (e.g.: 0)
  2. Alert after candle close (e.g.: 1)

  1. Alert Timeframe

Currently the MADdash alerts on current candle but I would like to have an alert after the candle is complete in a specified timeframe. For example, in case of solid color box or constant row color conditions, MADDash would alert if those conditions are met after completion of 1 hour candle, or a daily candle (specified by me). That way I believe it could avoid false signals if any.

Thanks and best regards.

Sakib

Edit: Timeframe input

Hi all,

thanks for the really impressive job! I just wanted to know how the ''derived'' values are computed from the MA distances.
I apologize in advance if this point was already mentioned in the thread.
all the best

HK
HK big thank you for you DB. I have find it consistently very profitable shorting weak quote/strong base crosses nearing big round numbers eg GBPNZD at 2.2520 (2.2500+20 pips). Is it possible adding the bid or ask prices list for each cross highlighting those within say 20 pips from big round number? Thanks.

Good morning folks Long time and I trust you are all doing well and your trading going great.

This is what I have been cooking in the forex lab and being tested live now, and running side by side with MADdash. It is coming to a theater (SH) near you sometimes in the New Year.

Some highlights - the dashboard eliminates all stale signals which is why you have some blank spaces and it highlights current signals for 30 minutes, or as you decide. Thanks Renexxxx

Shalom and trade safe folks

George

My copy of the MADdash is working and will suggest that you download the latest version. I am not the coder, I just had an idea which was graciously coded by Honestknave. The latest indicator is being tested and will be available on Steve Hopwood's forum as that is where it was coded.

Cheers
