I am new and still on demo but i was thinking about the Red News Effect like NFP What Could Possibly Go Wrong? if for example: before the announcement by 5 minutes i opened two positions 1- Long with Stop-Loss = 20 Pips / Trailing-Stop = 5 Pips. 2- Short with Stop-Loss = 20 Pips / Trailing-Stop = 5 Pips. and close the active position after 1 minute.

Some will keep the shorts from 1.06x and price go to 1.15x because monthly chart is down trend and trend line is not broken .....

Then hedges ...........

my view on eur/usd .if price break 1.0765 then go for long .initial target for long positions 38% and 50% trend correction.no short setup for now .to me seems like it will break 1.0765 and i took a early long position with very low risk.dont buy now wait for breaking .

Probably. I don't trade before news myself but over the years of reading this forum, I have seen quite a few people complaining about large slippage during news. Guess the only
way for someone to find out is to try it, or ask others about their experience with the same broker.
