The story is similar with the rest of the grain complex. They are either sitting on support or have broken below it

Thanks for the attempt SunTrader. He might be suggesting to buy the breakout above 15.50 which is not a bad idea. Rather than selling to 13.5 and then trying to buy. Every one to his own. I am testing my short idea on monday with a small stop because the move down should be strong and quick if I am right. Crude is falling of a cliff sugar should at least show some respect. imho

Sugar behaved as I was expecting. But not before stopping me out at the early stages of the trading day. That is spreadbetting (wider spreads) for you. Now I will be looking to jump back in on a little retracement against the 15.25 secondary top

Price fell away nicely without a retracement today. In fact there was a gap down on the open which was not filled by the close. My order @1490 was not filled. I will now be concentrating on price action around 1390-1350 for signs of a reversal.

I am bulish the dollar index however this pair is threatening a breakout to the upside. Combine this with the Fed announcement last night it could have some legs to it. Could it be that the Dec hike has been factored in?
