I am not new to ForexFactory as you will see from my details and number of posts. I have been trading for a long while - learning the ropes and my ultimate aim is to give up the day job and trade full time. I also trade stocks and commodities.
I have blown up so many accounts than I care to remember in the quest to get better at this business. I have the methodology in place (still leearning though) and my main area I am working on is trader discipline and psychology. In this journey I have found out that I trade better on the 4h and daily charts. Sometimes I do tade the 1hour charts but profitability reduces.
I want to record my trades and the reasons I take them. If possible I want to log the outcomes too.
Posts to this thread will generally be done before I leave for work, after I come back and at the weekends. At the weekends I would be looking at what went on during the week and matters that can affect trading in the coming week
I forgot to add I am a technical trader. I have gone round the circle from using too many indicators to using only a few. Simplicity is the best.
I like bollinger bands, MACD, Slow stochastics, EMAs and ATR.
