Interesting observation, my pennies worth..
I notice levels to be aware of on the Daily 1.5200 & 1.5250, so buying onto and into these resistance levels I would stay away from and as an intraday trader I dont normally not trade from daily charts. The TDI has not yet crossed on my Daily chart.
For the 4hr, a nice momentum candle driven through the 1.52 support level which now may act as resistance, I will stay on the side lines and watch this next candle see if momentum continues.
Be interesting to hear what Emmanuel has to say..

I'm glad I could be of help Trade786. Keep in mind, as I referred to in my post, this is only my belief. We all trade our beliefs about the market. This is Van Tharp's adagium that has a lot of truth. The question is, is this negative? I believe we can learn through trial and error. Some things will work and some won't. The important thing is that we learn in the long run (Remember Darwin...). If I skim through the thread I can clearly see that there is a lot of members that once started trading the system but that are long gone. Perhaps they are having more succes with another method. Who knows

Learning forex is not easy. Learning TMS is not easy. I have been thinking about this process for a while now and I would like to share with you some extracts from two articles about learning. I am a firm believer that learning, and many growth processes, are non-linear. Hours spent learning do not pay off in a linear fashion. I try to keep and open mind, and soak up things. Some day these things will come together.

I'd love to hear some of your views on trading and the learning curve involved. How do you think the forex learning curve looks in different intervals? Did you profit very early in forex? How would you describe the shape of your curve? What was your 'tipping point' if any?

The amount of information you can find... I think it is not unreasonable to believe that the left interval is logarithmic. I have felt overwhelmed by information many times.

nothing much to do before yellen speaks, so play around with this chart..It's H4ucad with US oil overlay..Oil has just broken a swing low whereas ucad has just broken a TL.I have drawn fibs on the chart and I believe ucad will test the 78.6 level once again and probably do a 100% retracement eventually if oil is to further weaken...just my thoughts..dyoa plz

Now I think it's time to say hello - as I have been following this amazing thread for several months in silence.
Emmanuel considers if he should go on posting, teaching... so I simply have to pop up.

Since last summer I have adapted the TMS system in my trading with some succes, mostly H1 and H4. Beside the TMS setup I use the most obvious S/R a few weeks back, and a 20EMA, which is my trend indicator. During the years I have learned that you can work with any MA, none is more magic than another, you just have to know how prices relates to it.

I have backtested TMS trades endless hours with strategy tester, I pretend taking trades, using the fib tool for placing 1:1, 1:2, 1:4 atr, typically. I have also backtested by looking through the succesful trades to analyze the best conditions. I am now moderately profitable, still going small with 0.02-0.04 entries.

For a couple of years I was member of the Forex Trade Room run by Michael Storm. It is now closed
The best thing I learned was to take M1-M5 entries at good fib- or S/R levels on hard pullbacks against the trend. Simply buy after a "buy bar", which is a strong mostly engulfing candle. Then you're already 20 pips or so in front of the herd, that joins the party later.

The worst thing I experienced was an endless row of big drawdowns - they pyramided all the time and did not use stops. My profits made through careful entries were wiped out by those big losses. So now I have hard SL on all trades.

I am - like most of you - convinced that less is more, and that PA and good money management has to be the core of a trading plan.

I have read the pdf compilations, the first 500 pages, the last 2-300 pages and a lot between, this thread is a goldmine of wisdom, you can write any number in the "go to page" field, and you'll find something of interest.
We with less experience have all reason to be humble, patient, do our homework and learn from the countless number of semi- and full time professionals who spend their valuable time teaching, explaining, demonstrating, helping.

To Emmanuel and other central figures who keep this thread very much alive - I just want to say, probably on behalf of all the other silent followers: THANK YOU!

Hello Donquixote, This is a good entry after price bounce S/R, look left you can see previous swing low turn resistance.
It's still below the Day 10ema.

(It's 7;00a.m. here in Montana)

Ok...A new Day!

The 4 hour bar just updated.
But...the stock market (market's) do not
open here in the USA until 7:30a.m.

I have found over the years that the best time to enter forex
in the USA session is at 7:30a.m.

The big key to Tms is being able to read the Apb's!
Look for pin-bars, inside bars & different price action set-up's.

Here is my UC trade for today, guppy/TMS (SJ style). I closed it because I do not want to get caught up in the news. Almost 50 pips.

Put your stop loss at the bottom of the apb.
You have to give your trade room to "breathe"...

Look at the red line, and you will understand.

HINT: It was not broken when you entered. So you should have waited: TL under the ABP, and R zone above APB. Where will it break? Be patient with this pair and pick another.

When I was first learning to trade,
I demo traded for about a month. But I wanted
to get my emotions ready for live trading. What
I did was open a mini account & was betting like
10 cents a pip. Not very much at all. But it allowed
me to get my emotions under control & slowly build
up my account.

Damn...I just lost $2.00...what did I do wrong!
Then I went back & rechecked everything. I analyzed
every trade! It helped in my progression at Forex.

I figure that for every 4 trades I take 1 of
them will be a looser. (about 75% winners).

The 1 looser will be for whatever reason. (news,
bad set-up, things just happen)!

When I loose...I get up, dust myself off & get
back on that horse. It's like water off of a ducks back.
I play the probabilities...
