Just a reminder that US and Canada have Bank Holidays today and Draghi starts speaking at 13.15 GMT.

{quote} Interesting. Just loaded ADR pro calculator and SD on charts. Do you set the bias following SDC channel or go by last W1 while taking trades on H4? In this example, last W1 was bullish but H4 SDC showing down. {image} {image}

The default setting is for a 5 day look back. Changing that has a big effect. You need to back test and see which setting works best for your trading TF

Divergence setups trades. Sometimes divergence work other times most fails {image} {image}

Here's an example of a losing trade I took. Atleast it went against me.

Some pointers that I personally think.

TREND -> CONSOLIDATION -> REVERSAL / CONTINUATION : I always forget the middle part and get pulled in too early.

SL Too Tight.

Position building grid was too narrow both in time and in price.

moin

absolute right,
everbody should only use tools he really understand, and what can be done with it.
Otherwise it costs your own money. The deviationtool for example is a nice thing for me,
but I use it for a longer time , developed in 2008, found here in FF.
So we all have to read and learn.
Just my view

green pips to all
from level to level - you need mental strength to reach the summit

Hi there,

In this thread there is a couple of things that are being used.

5 Simple MA Shift 3
10 Exp MA
PAC = Price Action Channel (Dean Malone)

The PAC is most conservative I think. It is calculated using the 9 EMA of high and low with some fancy smoothing. It is included in the Synergy PRO

In the end, they are all alike and changing from one to another will not change a losing trader into a profitable one. Best is to choose one and stick with it. (I haven't actually done this myself ). You should try and overlay all 3 on a chart. Differences are not too big

Best of luck,

Hello Emmanuel7788,
yes I know something like that was on LE1 thread , but have patiently look for it with know success, hence the reason why I made the request here.
These two links you have been kind enough to give (as usual)seems not to be what I really want.
I want to get an alert sound indicator to ring once price cross 10ema on either 1hr or 4hrs form either below and close above or from above and closes below with a pop message coming with the actual pair with the cross.
sorry for my troubles.

Thanks

The 5 ema high/low is the old pac and there is no shift...The shift 2 or 3 is the 5 ema set to typical price which the late big E used..Please do not get yourself confused

ahh ok I see it now as I observe price using the PAC I see that the tdi crosses before the price breaks out of the channel which means I am leaving a lot of pips on the table

Well !

Every trader is to add the new channel ( SDC ) to their charts and hope to become successful with it !!

This channel has nothing new to do! it will just make a mess and deciding to enter will be so difficult. of course your are free to test it.
There were many kind of these channels that added to the charts before and did not help no one!

This system is simple ! what are you looking for ?!!

Back to the third page and see what BIG E said:

I know there is no way to stop others from adding other indicators. It's human nature. I would appreciate it if you did not post those indicators on this thread. Please start your own thread if necessary. It's a lot of work.

This is my opinion!
regards

I disagree with you Farhad, the channel helps me allot, and keeps me out of bad trades. Each to his own liking
