Those are pretty open ended questions, but let me offer some insight.

"looking left" refers to looking back at previous candles and determining things like S/R which are products of market structure. Zooming out various clicks and checking what previous obstacles might be in the way of your trade direction is very important. Look into s/r, big picture planning, and market structure.

Price action refers to reading actual bar or Japanese candles, individually, in a group, or potentially in an entire pattern. Therefore it is not an indicator, but rather the candles, and therefore price, itself. PA is king, so i cannot recommend reading-up enough. I have attached some PDF's that have previously been posted and can be found in the paperclip.

Also, i suggest you checkout babypips.com and their "school", its a pretty good intro to the basics and will give you a foundation to better understand what is happening in the thread.

Yesterday a learnt a vailable lesson, (GREED) I wanted to be greedy with my EUR/JPY Trade, I didnt cash out at my target, held on to long to my trade, stepped away from my screen for a few minutes when I came back, lost half of my profits, could have ended up with 50 pips but only ended up with 25 pips, so vailable lesson learnt cash out at your targets.

What is my expectation from this thread? Would like to see more losing trade analysis and less profitable trades. I find there is waaay more to learn from a losing trade. There is one psychological aspect to this too. Reading all these profitable trades, new traders get the wrong impression that everyone else is making money when he is losing and that eventually leads to the negative thought- "May be trading is not for me".

Earlier this morning I was showing pictures of the
usd/jpy & we were watching it. I was thinking that it
might curl up & hit the top level.

But it turned into a bounce trade & resumed down.

What I find interesting about this chart is, the apb hit
exactly on the bottom level! I knew it would hit a level I
just didn't expect that level.

To answer your question...I have losses all the time! The secret
is to make your winners bigger & more profitable than your losers.
When I have a loser...I kinda say to myself...things happen. I
dust myself off & get back on that horse. I refuse to quit...no
matter what!

We can definitely Skype in a live market, though like yourself i am still a student, just with a few months head-start. However, i do believe it would be very beneficial to complete the babypips school. I assure you that you will get a lot more out of reading this thread when you have a grasp of the basics. sometimes its hard to have emotions under control, this happens to everybody.
Have this with my EURGBP trade, two to target , one stop out.
Trade your plan and finish.
Important is to be adaptive.

Interesting. Just loaded ADR pro calculator and SD on charts.

Do you set the bias following SDC channel or go by last W1 while taking trades on H4? In this example, last W1 was bullish but H4 SDC showing down.

I will be taking trades according to big E timetable..Below is a trade taken on H4 though it's 20 mins past the mark..however ,I wish to point out it was taken on the 3rd candle..let's see how it develops

My view on the USD/JPY USDJPY: Continues To Face Corrective Threats USDJPY: The pair remains vulnerable to the downside on correction leaving risk lower. On the downside, support comes in at the 122.50 level where a break if seen will aim at the 122.00 level. A cut through here will turn focus to the 121.50 level and possibly lower towards the 121.00 level. On the upside, resistance resides at the 123.50 level where a cap may be occur again. Further out, we envisage a possible move towards its range top at the 124.00 level. Further out, resistance resides at the 124.50 level with a turn above here aiming at the 125.00 level. On the whole, USDJPY looks to break out of its range.
