Alright folks,

I'm kind of tired of uploading this large Reading List file again and again and sending links in PM so I've looked for a solution.

Over time I have build up a collection of all sorts of stuff in this TMS thread. It sort of is too much to properly organize but I did my best. I've placed it in a Google Drive folder to share. I will attempt to make this better and more organized over time but it is a daunting task.

Another lesson on using Weekly Pivots

Big E uses these round numbers 00, 20, 50, 80. He has his reasons
But when we look at price levels on our charts using the BN levels indicator we will observe how the price reacts at these levels 00, 25, 50, 75.
I think Big E is correct. Price remains the same in history but not the pivots S&R.

XAUUSD Week 46 11 Nov update:
Sorry folks forgot to update early today but looking at the previous 2 day candles which look indecisive, it is time to get out of all positions.

USD weaken so we be careful with the USD majors on short term.

No selling AU, EU, GU and no buying UJ and UCad on short term.

Does anyone have an indicator that gives a sound when price crosses 10ema either from
1)below and closes at top
OR
2)from the top and closes below .
just for only 1hr and 4hrs TMF only,

Just when I was planning to buy UC. Don't you think buying the dips would be good as last NFP made rate raise a done deal and last W1 was bullish, TDI green on top of red.

My be I misunderstood 'short term'- is that 1 or 2 days?

What is my expectation from this thread?

Would like to see more losing trade analysis and less profitable trades. I find there is waaay more to learn from a losing trade. There is one psychological aspect to this too. Reading all these profitable trades, new traders get the wrong impression that everyone else is making money when he is losing and that eventually leads to the negative thought- "May be trading is not for me".

yes buying the dips is what I am doing this week.

short term mean you are in and out today and same tomorrow and close all by Friday.

I totally agree with you drewdrops. From all these posts everyone seems to be winning all the time lol

can some explain to me "looking left." Why do we need to look left and what are we looking for when we look left.
Also, what is Price Action and where on the chart is it?

Price Action (PA) is market movement ... Going Up ... Coming down ... Consolidation .. sideways movements etc ... Candles and their direction (up/down) shows the PA ...
By looking left ... We will know if we are buying into resistance or selling into support as these are dangerous ...
When we look left, we look at previous / historical Key Price Levels ... those levels, which PA has tested / re tested / bounced off etc ...
Buddy, no questions are stupid ... Root of all knowledge is "QUESTIONS"

Thank you for explaining it to me.

How far is it advisable to look back on H4 TF? Also, why are the high and lows important. and are high and lows also known as resistance and support?
