does that make a diff??

why does it do that?? do i need to open a live acct with someone to get a reliable feed? mt4 sometimes shuts down for several hours (like earlier this week).

i currently trade through a non-metatrader4 brker for the live trading, but have been seriously contemplating switching to one that operates through mt4. but not if this sort of nonsense keeps coming up.

iceburg, jimbo, do you guys use mt4 for live trading. if so how do you like it?

i talked to someone at coesfx...they say they will be doing something with mt4 soon. are there any other good ecn brokers?

I also have been experiencing connection problems with MT-4, and noticed that crazy EUR/USD spike. Three days this week I have been knocked off with no connection. It is frustrating, as I am trying to draw accurate trend channels, and MA's.

but if i may, i'd rather call it a pin bar (courtesy of James16). Look for strong consumer sentiment tomorrow morning to confirm the USD rally.

today's philly fed index & jobless numbers got me short for the remainder of the week.

If my entry gets triggered, I'll sell 30% of my position @1.2760, another 30 @1.2620 and remaining at 1.2520.

It will be a nice trade and I hope you are gonna catch it.This time in down journey we are going to touch 1.2400 handle hopefully.

Just saw Raczekfx's post on his entries and I can see the 1.2760 on daily and 1h as a good reason to go short, but I am not sure why the other levels? Can you elaborate please?

Seems like the PBOC rate hike gave E/J a nasty shock and might help push euro down now....

What are your targets for the shorts raczekfx? 1.2400?
Trust price. Know yourself.
I canceled my waiting order and opened position manually @ 2835 overnight. Sold half @2790 and moved SL to BE.
I also faded Eur/jpy @ 4870, out @ 4825

I wanted to trade a break of a daily pin, but decided to go short on bounce from yesterday low. (James16 has a great thread on price action. If you haven't seen it yet, you absolutely must read it - that's of course if you're serious about trading). My TL are simply VWB fibo levels

I don't have a specific target. I simply use price action to initiate position and take partial profit at different fibo levels.

Is there a way to pool our data together in an organized way ( may it is already being done and the nubie in me is coming out) to trade the Euro?
Whether this is done daily or once a week. I have about 6 common news sources and half say one thing and half say another. Has anybody heard of the Vantage Point software that gives currency forcasts up to 4 days in advance with 80% accuracy. They take data based on 12 sources (gold, Tbonds, Oil, and others to come up with their conclusions?

A pin bar formation is a way of interpreting price action and is equivalent to a morning star if you use candles on your charts. The presumption is that the market will move opposite the direction that the pin protrudes. On the chart I attached above, I would consider going long because the pin bar I've highlighted protrudes downward. I've been trading price action in conjunction with trend lines, support/resistance levels and fibs with an excellent level of success on 4 hr and daily charts. Watching price action has had a very positive impact on my trading. If you haven't had the opportunity yet, I recommend you read James16's Chart Thread. There is a wealth of information to be had there. Take your time with it. I believe it is time well spent. Here's a link:
