Yes, both are already priced in and an ecb december move might be in the charts already. But that doesn't mean the market will reset its mind and pretend the past 2 weeks are done and forget about it. We have a monetary policy of the ECB which brings the EUR down and it will last at least 2-3 years. On the other side we have the policy of the FED who is ready to get back to normal. That's what we see since mid 2014, this isn't done yet.

On the technical side we have a long term signal on weekly TF. There is a complete evening star in Oct. which is a very strong sell/downtrend signal on that large timeframe. Last week we got a doji which means the market is indecisive. This week it seems we follow the technical and fundamental trend of the last weeks which points down.
I would never say we see 1.05 or 1.08 soon. Noone can tell a number were the market is going to be in a week, a month or whatever. You have to trade the possibilities and chances. And right now, the chance to go lower - technical and fundamental wise is definately higher than going up again. That's all I tried to say with my previous post

#2 i dont know about. #1 is valid. bears need to start showing some leg since 0963 (bull norm) was hit. (leg after 1195 is a stronger sign. R 1209/25 ish) until larger bulls are still here. it has a hh 17xx.. the low before that high at 0807 wouldn't hurt bears. that hasn't happened. until smaller trades on smaller tf may be the way to look. if not a LL, 1195 or more may be a decent short. that st has reached 0985, so 1195 is valid as a possible retrace. or 1303 ish after 0707. doubtful of that one after a rate raise or a ez cut,

I personally think that the market is little confused right now and it doesn't have a clear direction yet. Of course Long term the pair will go down, however I think that the short term uptrend is still in play taking the uptrend trend line into consideration. I will wait to see if the price will bounce back of that trend line and will go long if I will see a reversal sign there at 1.09216 otherwise if the trend line will break then i will go short. My TP would be set on 1.0960 area....

usd/mex may give a short after rate raise spike. nice swap rates if it falls.. it looks toppy on month/year. a rate increase may give a topish entry on that bounce.
