No, you were right. The daily EMA is at 1124 (orange MA on the chart). The daily SMA (crimson on the chart) has been restraining it to the topside. So that's why I thought your remark was interesting. What I meant was that it will be interesting to see if the EMA at 1124 restrains it as well and if the two flatten out and constrain it in a range between them until the Fed moves it. That's a common thing you see on lower timeframe charts, and that's what I'm guessing it will do (for daily closes at least), since, as we are in ranging mode it's pretty much been respecting the overbought/oversold areas on the stochastics.

We might get a bounce to around 1.1250. We weren't anticipating this much of a move at once, so there is tendency to try to pull back and stabilize before another move.
