M$ Excel doesn't need any php support to open / import csv / txt file! It uses its internal function and can repeat it in specified interval from 1 - n minutes. This works pretty good if you do not have access from different sheets the same csv / txt. If for any case you should need such a function, then write a macro which will check first if csv / txt is open / in use already and will try it again after it is released again.

Depends on your "flexi" definition. I've stated many times already that we use an interval to update / reset the GAP and that the entry level of the GAP is based on a "flexi" filter.

To reset the GAP has the big advantage to keep you away from entries in a "weak" market. Why? One will see very slow increase / decrease of the GAP and it will not reach entry level until next update. As soon as market is awake and price action comes up, this will happen much faster and together with other entry criteria there are signals. You will much more understand if once you have your GAP sheet running beside a currency strength meter and some of your charts. Study it until you are familiar with it. This will not only take hours but days or weeks even!

Not all charts always showing much clear divergence, hence we measure it and together with some of our other rules we have a signal.

This is a great succinct definition of our terms and belongs on page 1 where Jibala placed it.

I have a thought to add:

Bid Ratio is based on the current price as a percentage of the Day Range. This range can be based on the Day Bar (the time elapsed since the brokers open time) or Rolling (the last 24 hours).

I thought Bid Ratio for the current value uses the Bid value, not the current close. However, as the Bid values are not available for previous time frames, the close value is used. This leads to an inconsistency when comparing historical results by using two values that are calculated differently. It is much better to use dlouw'is definition as our standard as it provides higher consistency between the current values and historical ones. What is your consensus?

Nothing has changed, the range for TP is still something 4.2 - n Pip depending on market conditions. What currently we analyze is the fact that the first move has become smaller. That's why the hard earned profit needs to be protected. The trailer uses a 0.5 Pip step from being in profit.

Edit: This is to confirm my above statement. I just read it in the user manual (guide) of another (commercial) scalping system.

If you increase the volume size while scalping, do not go for more than 5 pips even if the indicator shows a perfect trend. Or you must be prepared to close the trade at any moment when the price bar moves opposite direction.

Here is one superb post. Thanks for straightening the definitions. Many a times we tend to use the same term but the math is completely different. For excel development, we need our math absolutely perfect. The definitions should be on the first page for sure.

Just make your script an indicator or expert which will run continuously on a chart and export all data on specified interval (eg M30)! The generated csv file then can be automatically imported / updated into your excel sheet. Should be not that much difficult, right?

Thanks for all your help. I have spent the last 3 months reading and re reading your posts and when I had finished reading them I went back and read them again. i have studied each picture of your trades you post for hours.
