LOL Went long last night at 120 with tp of 120.350 missed by one pip on both my brokers. Closed at 120.280 didn't want to hold over week end.

I think USDJPY will be back to 124-125 in medium-long term, cause divergency outlook BoJ n The Fed.

I know the difference between the two. I've been trading close to 20 years. But it would be clearer to others not to mix the two.

Quite often I see traders mentioning volume with forex. The volume they are looking at is their broker or a combination of a few. Not all forex. As you know when futures volume is displayed it is for all trades with all brokers - with that particular exchange anyway. But an apples to apples comparison works best. COT with futures and something like FF sentiment index with forex.

No clear direction yet on the USD/JPY. It is still consolidating around the 120.00 level, it would be better to stay away from it.

i think charts indicate that it is heading lower, but UJ always finds a way back to 120.
probably will watch levels of 119.6 and then look for a buying opportunity from there.

UJ has only been (recently) hanging around 120 since the Chinese dumped their dose of US treasuries.

At the moment the trend for the last 30 days remains gently down, it needs RSI to stabilise around the '50' mark before you can say that UJ is not going lower from here.

Now that the Japanese have restarted their nuclear power generation some of the negative Yen pressure has gone, so we have to watch the Japanese trade balance for clues ... and of course the main drivers remain Abe and Kuroda.
