The USDJPY is still consolidating around the 120.00 level with lots of volatility confirmed by the the long shadows in both directions on the daily chart.

Closing out Long positions to lock profits, after NFP.

waiting for a small retracement before go to test 121.00 in the short term

in the long term, my analysis still showing 123 & 124.5 as targets.

what do you my fellow traders see on your own analysis.

Usd/Jpy remains in a consolidating pattern near 120.30 in a short-term.

4H Waiting to break the resistance from 19th Aug to 25th Sep around the 120.5 or fall back to support, should resistance be broken possible short term retracement then see what will be next..... Hence 120.4 TP

Am short UJ at the moment, waiting to see if strong stock market buying pushes the dollar down.
Also UJ is nestling just under 120.30 which is local resistance for the past few days.

Looking for something like 119.80 ... but we shall see soon enough.

The price on usd/jpy moves to resistance level. When 121.23 mark will be passed, I’m gonna sell.

I was short yesterday too till London open anyway thought for sure it would drop some before hitting 120.5. Missed the 120 entry but got in at 120.1 - 120.35 was a long night. Great call

Whats your thought for today and why hippie? Up to 120.75 and maybe higher or back down to 120?

In your experiences do you find that this pair is controlled or influenced more by the dollar and US stocks, or the yen and japan's nikkei 225. I would agree with this outlook however the 225 in japan kept climbing today as well topped out around 18400 and seemed to slowly drag U/J up with it.

I honestly cant tell the next move yet Ngp, it has sat still all this evening since it hit the resistance target I could draw.
I need it to move some more before next call.
On the 4H there are a lot of previous highs around the 121.1 to 121.3 and Fridays Low did not break sep 4th low so for me it is still very much trending sideways bouncing of the Support and resistance since its huge drop from 20th-24th Aug.
I will stick with previous highs and lows for the moment.

think i'll go long at 120.5 for today if it hits again...

120.3 switched to support and is staying above 120.4 so far hear in aisa
