I caught the run up this AM for only 112 pips but rode the elevator down for a good run. I'm done for the day and may be getting off a little early but that's OK too.

It was a good day. Gotta run for a lunch meeting and see of I can get a new client. Have a great weekend guys!!

Hi all, personally I'm strongly bearish on eurusd until may'16 and working only on short positions till then unless there is a bold confirmation of a trend change. I think bears used today's spike to reposition themselves to higher levels, now probably closing earlier lower level positions and waiting for a retest of 1.1320/10. a failure to break through 1.1320 now leaves an extension of a third wave in question. Looking for 1.08 in nearest months and below or very close to 1.0 by may'16 end. Also used this spike to go short on gold - looking for ~800 there on a year perspective and working on a bear side. Nice to meet you o/

Thin market. Most of the move happened in 5 minutes. Resistance levels to boot.

These are 3 standard deviations of a 34 ema. A typical BBand is 2 standard of a 20, so these are even more powerful.

Only scalpers make real money in retail market. I've yet to meet a successful trader who's main strategy isn't scalping. This NFP event is perfect example of how market turn on people expecting longer trends.

Today we saw a spike up after a news release. This is my favorite trading op. The question for me is, is the spike based on the news rational? Or is it a knee jerk reaction? If I think it's knee jerk, I fade it. This has worked for me every time in the last 12 months. Today I nibbled on the retrace to 50% for a net of 72 pips. Yahoo.
