the trillion $ question.. yes, i like the closes to agree.. i like a bullish move to close above the previous day or london close.. bear vice versa. than u have the week or month.. or a older sr or a pp.. it takes time to get a feel... no wrong way,. if your using a indi you like wait till it agrees.. and maybe exit when it turns against your trade.. because odds are its going back 1/2 way to the last place it rested.. so you can re-enter than if u like.. for instance if i wanted to wait for 1218, i could atm if i wanted to take that long. London roll was higher as was 5est close. the problem is its months end... we have several closes here 1200.2/1268.9 00est close last month

is 1218 the norm of one the moves today 1192 - 1244 ? This level (1218) was hit many times after that. Why would we expect the price to return back to it, instead of going to the target of this move (1296) ?

that sounds about right.. keep in mind, its not the best time to trade. but you seem to be getting the feel. these little st moves do lie... but if you were already looking to long, a little indicated norm retrace at 1218 is much better than at the current level 1251.. the point is u dont want a market trade as a entry at least until it makes its most normal retrace.. on a b/o its 1/2 the risk and 1.5 times the reward. if your original want to long is correct. sure you dont always get 1218. if u are right about longing a b/o, longing 22 pips lower isn't going to hurt as much as higher.

Hey mkvy You say your targeting 1.1430 by Friday with sl of 1.11, what analysis do you get that from, im just trying to understand where your coming from, not saying anything by it. I have been reading this forum daily looking for other trader's view and analysis to confirm my own analysis. Thats about 160- 165 pips from now.

1.11 and 1.14 are important support and resistance on the daily/ weekly chart.. The price has tested 1.11 twice and there's an engulfing daily bullish candle from 1.11, albeit slightly wicky. Institutions and banks look at s/r on daily or larger timeframe charts

thank you for explaining, i understand the support and resistance is ranging 1.11 to 1.14. just dont know about yellen's talk tomorrow at 1500 est. but if the gov shuts down i def think it will reach 1.14. what you think?
