There could be thousand reasons that support my idea and thousand which doesn't. Of course you should trust only your own system and take my comment only as a look up. I never compare pairs to other pairs because the similarity is seasonal and to me that is manipulative. (Comparing Dax and EURUSD is the only exception)

Can somebody guide me here? How come the euro is going higher when the data( german and spanish) was not that positive! I see as I am writing this that it seems that it was only a spike? Still I don't understand the mechanics of the move.

Also I find it interesting that up move in eur/usd seem to correlate with down move of us indexes. It looks like USD is weakening but contrary to this price of gold is falling... Or I am hallucinating. One can see in those charts what one expects to see. I Would like to understand how USD indexes are connected with commodities and currencies.

Risk off moves EURUSD up, USDJPY down in safe haven bid. Gold falls alongside metals complex with weakening commodities.

European Equities were set for a 1.5% drop on open which was priced in with the move to 1280.
Equity Markets rebounded off the lows after market open. We moved one standard deviation off today's open to the high and now are testing the daily open again as support. Weak hands are often late to the game and shoot for even number targets so the reversal was an ideal pain point before mid-morning tea in London.
