While I'd much rather be in his position, that guy on the right has the kind of face that's just begging to be smacked... hard.

The main reason I don't trade it much is because it ties up lots more margin than some of the others. (Same reason I DO like trading NZD and AUD... teensy, weensy margin)

wow! so you had a 1 to 10 risk reward. Assuming you had 1% risked then you were up 10% at some point. Being a newbie you probably had way more % at risk, you had a big gain at some point, foolish not to take some off. ALL MY TRADES are at least 1 to 2 R/R and I live pretty well, 1 to 10 is a gift you don't give back. Live and learn.
Without a trade plan, say bye bye to your account & hello to frustration.

I Know I Know. It's Just That It Seems Like Whenever I Would Close A Trade With A +50 Pip Profit I Would Look Back & See That If I Would Have Stayed In That Same Trade For The Rest Of The Week I Could Have Had +200 Pips. I Guess That Really Is Greed. But I Just Want To Take My Game To Another Level. ..Idk

I've had trades that go 1000 pips after I close for 50 . At the same time, I've had trades that went 1000 pips against my entry ( which is why you need stops). The best way I've figured out to handle your situation is to close 3/4 of the trade and let the rest "ride the wave" and keep moving your stop to the next significant support/resistant level on the remainder

I never understood the phrase happy trades. are there sad trades? indifferent trades? do trades have feelings? if so can they fall in love? are they scared of death via stop outs or profit taking? perhaps tp is heaven and stop loss is hell

Yep, at least for mine. The only time I hold anything beyond a few hours is unintentional, when I somehow manage to get myself STUCK in a long-term BAD trade. I know, I know... classic mistake. The one thing I'm having trouble kicking. I do just fine on 9 out of 10 trades, but that 10th one gets me every time.

Nice. I was only up 6 pips an hour or so ago when I just took my bike out on the river trail for a short ride. I came back and find myself up 35 pips. Somehow I missed that Yellen was talking today but I'll take it.

Similar here. Only I nearly made a big mistake: I look and see that I was up around 15 pips on a NZD short that had been underwater an hour earlier. So I start to close it and take my surprise profit. Very nearly did, but then I noticed that the spread was something like 20 pips, and so under the assumption that when it narrowed down to normal it would be in my favor, I waited. Within a few minutes it narrowed, and I got out with over 30 pips.

Okay So This Is The Problem I've Been Having Trying To Trade Longterm. I Was Long From A Few Nights Ago & I Was Up +100 Pips. Now I'm Only Up Like 20 Pip. WTF .. Is This An Opportunity To Add To My Position Or Is It A Reversal? Ahhhhhhhh I Can't Take This Lol

One reason I scalp (except when I make a mistake). I know it takes more time in front of the screen, and the profits are usually pretty tiny... but at the same time, whatever stress I feel on a given trade only lasts a few minutes to a few hours. None of this day-after-day watching of a long-term trade that can quickly go from big profit down to nothing.

Probably referring to the first letter of every word being capitalized. I'm assuming you don't do that manually, so I can't figure out why it shows up that way for you.
