Hello Folks, any trades today? i like eurusd 4h chart but i wait pulback and then take long.

EU is at the last week's low, which is resistance on H4. The candles on H4 seem small, so not too much power, IMHO. I went to M15 and I saw PA was rejected a few times from that line. Maybe others can share their opinion too.

Thanks for your opinion Catalin. I agree the Heiken ashi candles are not so strong, so i wait USA session then maybe will be more volatility. Yes it has big resistence on 1.12 but i think it will go up for 13-14price.

Hi all,

First time to FF. Wanna thank Big E for selflessly sharing TMS and starting this thread.
I've just entered my first trade on EURCAD using TMS and looks like it's heading the right direction.
However, I have one question regarding when to enter the trade.

As can be seen from the screenshot, "when do I enter.jpg", green line bounced off. However, the bar has not closed.
So, do I enter at this bar, or should I wait till this bar closes and enter at the open of next candle?

I entered the trade before the candle closes. It's looking pretty good so far ("looking good.jpg") :-)
I do realized that it's a bit risky to enter near the resistance (daily high).

Hi,

Always wait for the candle to close to confirm the trade setup.

Learn to read the price action using the real price bar or Japanese candlesticks. With the APB candles, you should swtich your chart to Bar Chart so that you see the real price bar OHLC over the APB.

EURCAD was in consolidation and there was an Inside Bar. Use that for PA setup and the TDI will confirm the setup.

Post#647 is important post and use that as a checklist when we trade.

I took 2 trades on H1. Scale out at +25pips, +50pips with 2 remaining positions open protected at BE+.

Hi,

With that D1 setup alert, you can simply open a buy trade when day open. But your SL would be the low of the previous Day low or the last swing low i.e. the low of 22 Sep.

You can chose to trade intraday using H1 of M15 but have a Buy bias since there is a D1 setup for buy.
For intraday trading you have several options to look for buy trades.
-1) is to look for buy when the price action break above the previous Day high.
- 2) trade when the price action break above the Tokyo_5Hour high.
- 3) simply look for consolidation like IB, then trade the IB breakout.

you can also look at H4 high low on your H1 chart and trade the H4 IB breakout.

Thanks very much for your prompt reply and advice. I'll add OHCL to my chart.
I've read post #647. Just wasn't sure what "consolidation area" meant. Am I correct to intepret that "consolidation area" means near support/resistance.

Hi,

Here is the H4 Hi-Lo which you will see on H1 and lower TF.

You can either use the 5EMA set to Typical Price, Shift+3 as in the original template by Big E

or you can change and use the 10EMA set to Close price, No shift.
