A bearish harami formed across the confluence of the 50sma/00 psych-line before price dropped away. Entry and exit as shown. Nice and simple.

Bump off FPV, entry above level, exit not exact - a bit early, end of ABCD and at R1 would be ideal .

Ok s i'm new to this forum and have been cruising around the pages. This thread seems to focus on Price action (chart patters, individual candlestick patters, etc) with confirmation/ confluence of the Psych levels, Pivots, Trendlines etc. Correct me if i am wrong

Yes Sr, you're correct. But imho Psych levels and Pivots come first them Chart patterns and Candlestick Triggers

Nice trade, snail. At the top of your A-B line, you could have drawn a nice sloping TL down to the area where you eventually entered your trade, giving you more or less your entry point. No criticism, mate. We all have our own ways!

Hello, Roose, and nice to meet you. It seems like you've got things the wrong way round, my friend. The thread focuses on Pivots, Psych-Lines and Trendlines, as the thread title says. However, candlestick patterns are also very important, and I would advise anyone to study them, and get some idea of how they're used, either in bullish or bearish moves. As you've been "cruising" around the pages, you'll no doubt have noticed how all the traders on here have had their own way of doing things, but still keeping to the Thread Title as the basis of their trades.

A small hammer candle formed at the bottom of the move on the 00 psych-line. Once price started to push up, I entered just above the top of the hammer. Exit was nearly 2 hours later with a nice lift.

Welcome Roose.
In my opinion there is no point trading candlesticks blindly.
Engulfing patterns and dojis etc work a lot better when they form near/on or around these levels.
So look for Price to be at or near these levels first and then confirm your decision with a nice candlestick formation.
I know there is a lot of pages in this thread but go back to the beginning and read through it, when I did it, I mainly focused on the charts that where posted and then you will see the power of these levels.
There are some good traders on this thread and you will learn a lot if you stick around.

Thanks for the advice Coastie, just one more inquiry is there a zip or posting of the pivots indy on you guys charts. I have a whole number levels one already.

Scroll up to the top of the page their is a picture of a paper clip. click on it and it will give you all the attachments from this thread, which includes indys etc.

Hello mate !!! It is not about which kind of lvls u will use. It is about how you will use. All our trades is not random.

Take a look at this one, MS was holding the price, and we had LHs and eventually we got a triangle

If you will have a quick look at M15, price was testing lows before moving in the direction of the trend
