Hey Littspaniard thank for the heads up, safe to assume that anytime is good to trade this? The reason I ask is that I travel a lot around Australasia so the markets that are open for me in our hours are Tokyo and the European markets.

Not sure which way the DAX is moving. IG Futures currently has it at 10269, breaking the trendling resistance at 10247. Anyone think this is likely to 10100 or lower in the near future?

Do you expect it to re-test the 9300 level from the August sell-off?

I have one (longer term) account (10-K-Acc.) with DAX short investments (2x) at 10'500 (since 2015 September 09) with open end for bigger monthly price movements this or next year & would invest more shorts at 11'000 (1x) & 11'500 (1x)
(1x = 1 pip = 1.-$)

Agreed - three places to buy - the HL 5 mins after the "open". The break above yesterday's close and the break above yesterday's high. I was in the former at 10,246 and holding with SL +30

Edit: took partials +50 SL to +40

I was planning to post trades and pics but as I trade low TFs M1 and M5 I am afraid I am simply not fast enough to trade and post and posting after the event seems to make no sense. Sometimes I hold the trade for minutes and there is no time to look away. Anyway here is my trade for this morning. If I start trading higher TFs I will post again.

Sorry, I disagree. Posting as soon as is convenient is the best that any active trader can do and from the many comments I have recieved over years of posting confirm this.

My 15m chart with S&R areas. Note the high so far is at the 50% retrace

Also, note how the area of the 76% retrace has been support for the last three days. It was both resistance and later support around the begining of the month....

De acuerdo. I simply assumed that posting after the event is less interesting. Here the same trade on M5. Entered on M1, will exit on M5. No exit as yet. Any sign of weakness or consolidation and I am out.

I think 50% retrace may pose as resistance, we may get a little pullback on Xetra Open. I dont think this rally will go very high, as I think the US Fed rate decision Thurs/Fri will make investors a little nervous.

I am out at 10288. Entered at 10252. Good start to the day. My goal is to be done for the morning by 11.00am (10.00am UK). I then look again around the US open. I am too old to concentrate longer than 4 -5 hours a day. If I reach my goal in the morning, I do not trade in the pm.

@ Zoog Nicely done - we have similar ideas

@ PariCovek - agreed. That Limit Buy on my 15m chart missed by 1 tick, so I entered a bit later manually.

Took partials ~+29 at R1 and its still going up......618 is at 10,349 and the 76 at 10,416

Edit: @ Zoog - agreed about the afternoon - much better to take a siesta and enjoy life, especially for those of us who are supposed to be retired!

morning, took this trade this morning before taking the kids to school, set the stop loss and let the market decide. Impossible post at that time, sorry for that. when i came back, nice profit and i closed everything.
