Dax30 Long Trade Open/Close:
Opened at S/R level, TP the upper whole level. Closing could be slightly better, but I closed it without PVSRA template, from the Tab.
56 pips average, 112 pips total gain.

GM - if by the German Open - a term used in Forex Trading - you mean the pre-cash market open at 6 am GMT, then my answer is sometimes. As Cat recently commented, the pre Cash Market has recently been more active with some nice moves.

However, its often better to wait for the open (in Frankfurt!) of the Dax Cash Market - aka "XO" - at 7am GMT.....that's when the volumes pick up.

PS I have not traded yet today.....the over-night activity in other markets has not been high, although the Shanghai Composite is down ~3% and under its 3,000 level. The DJIA is up ~40 pts from its close.

Took short at 10154 - will exit on 1st white candle as there does not seem to be much momentum to the move as yet.

I bought the break of the DP at 10,158 SL now +10

Edit: partials +22 at old S&R area

Closed short at 10156 loss of 2 pips plus 4 pips spread. My broker usually has 1 pip on Dax but recently its been 2 pips every morning until around 10.30am. Not good.

Dax30 Long Trade Open/Close:
Opened after high activity above the half level, TP on the previous hights.
32 pips average, 64 pips total gain.

Sold MR1 / BRN failure at 10 192 SL now +1

Edit: price stalled, took partials +20, SL on remainder to +10

Remained closed +14 on moved stop.

Sold PB into LH at 10,181 SL mow +1

Edit: A dickering around morning, probably waiting for ZEW data in ~an hour.....a break of DP / yest close is needed.....

Morning all

Dax just broke my support level I have had since the 1st Sept - looks like no support for quite some time - think sub 10K this week - bar any magic from Janet

Any views please?
