Please I am currently carrying out a research on the following seven brokers with a view of picking the best in term of trade execution, low spread, withdrawals, leverage etc.
1.Exness.com
2.FXCM.com
3.GoMarketsAus.com
4.HotForex.com
5.Londoncapitalgroup.com
6.MBTrading.com
7.Oanda.com

Let me have your views on the brokers. Also if you know anyone that is better than them please let me know, albeit with facts.
London capital group and MB trading would be the only one i would pick from this list.
I would also add ActivTrades.

why not FXCM?
names that i know are oanda, FXCM, exness, though i cant really vouch for them, hotforex is good, I trade that broker, nothing crazy but they are quiet balanced and decent, one way to actually decide is to try and open a minimum live account with your top three and do a small comparison then go for the best one.
Brokers i have tried so far and i think they are good because i am retail traders and i cant afford to much deposit and i think their services are good :

Out of that list only Exness is what I have tried in past, but due to certain reasons I switched to OctaFX broker while my list would be just these as I have not tried too many broker, I rather focus on getting better strategy than chopping and changing brokers.

Thanks. Presently I am testing Oanda and I am going to test more before I can reach any conclusion.

Every broker has its risk. there are things you can do to mitigate like withdrawing regularly and obviously doing your due dilligence.

If you haven't proven your edge yet and still want to go live. Just trade with Oanda. Spread is not the best (this is variable cost) but they allow you to position size to a penny.


Worry about reliability and cost when it's worth worrying about.

IRONFX problem Am having terrible trouble with my broker ironfx they will not give me my money back the last transfer took 5 weeks 750 pounds only which is troubling. I havecomplained to CySEC who were totally useless the FCA said they were not responsible because it was a cyprus account my latest withdrawl has been 6 working days and i still do not have my money. Last time the money left my trading account but did not go in my bank for a week what were they doing with my money?

So i would defo say only go with broker who is FCA regulated as you are insured to 100k by british gov. i was told the cyprus ombudsman went to school with the ceo from iron fx so i never even got a reply from the ineffective CySEC..I am gutted and worried for my account..I started with 6k and have withdrawn 15K and have near 30k in my account do they not like winners. forex is hard enough without fighting your broker !!!!! Any views

Like Hotforex Zero spread account, most of the time spread on Eur/usd hovers around 0.0-0.2 pips what's pretty cheap for scalping

Yeah but their commission is $4/standard lot PER LEG, $8 roundturn!! That's one of the most expensive among brokers that offer commission-based accounts and that's assuming that they don't widen their spread as most of those commission-based brokers do! They all state really nice zero-spread on their webpage but when you really trade with them, their spread goes to like 0.7 - 1 and they blame it on the market. LOL And plus they are DEFINITELY a B-booker! A scam broker in my book.

From your list, I used to trade with FXCM and they always were fair. Every time they got sued I would get reimbursed for whatever they stole. I didn't like when they went to commissions because it became too hard to calculate trade sizes automatically on my spreadsheet. When they lost all that money in January, I bailed because the last time they went bankrupt they kept all their clients money >>Refco<<.

If you are not American, I would consider Tradersway.

Do you have experience trading on their zero spread account or it's just an assumptions?
In contrast I'm getting stated 0.0-0.2 pip on EUR/USD there but would really like to see the proofs of inconsistence of their platform.
