Hello
i have been watching many senior guys too are talking/using rebates to mint some more out of their trading.

I want to open a account this week or next with another "Less PURE BUCKETSHOP" broker After ALPARI UK has become "PURE BUCKETSHOP" with their so nicely presented Dirty games.

REQUIREMENTS / Possibilities:
-----------------------------
1) Hedging Allowed
2) Micro Lots (0.01)
3) No number of trades CAPPPING (can post one if one has..will check out)
4) Minimum 1:400 leverage
5) No Minimum account issue. Account Size is ~10K
6) Yes MT4 only as yet

I have filtered brokers to FXPro, FxDD(max order issue?), FxCM (lately not good?) What other options can i have?
I have been more interested in Fxpro and would like to know about REBATE thing.. how can i go about it?

Thanks in advance
Regards

Come on? You did ask about rebates directly. Why else would you have gotten those emails?

Anyway, plenty of threads here about FxPro. BUT, I did have a live acct with them, but thought their execution was too slow. I have accts with both FXDD and FXCM-UK, and am happy with both. FXDD probably best bucketshop, and FXCM has been fine for me; I heard all the horror stories about them, but haven't experienced any of it myself...

I've been live with FxPro for 8 weeks now, spreads are great. Order execution is rarely a problem as most of my trades are buy/sell stops. I've never been gapped during news releases and so far, so good.

I looked at an acc with FXDD but found their spreads far too high for me.

Can't help you with the rebate issue though.

Above may be the thread you found; I know I've posted about them several times, but I think the threads didn't have "FxPro" in them maybe.

Another place to look is the Forex Peace Army review site. I hope this doesn't get deleted as they are another forum, but you can find a bunch of reviews there.

Re. FXDD, yes you can take advantage of all the same there too.

Re. other brokers, my FXCM is actually through ATC Brokers with MT4. It's a good ECN with low commissions ($8/100K traded regardless of pair). They are very honest and professional in my experience.

FXDD has been fine for me, and their execution is far superior to other bucket shops. I've also had MT4 accounts with MIG, FxPro, IBFX, IKON, and Alpari, and FXDD was the best by far, primarily regarding execution. They are still a bucketshop in my opinion, and as such I'll never fully trust them, but I like having 1 ECN account and 1 bucketshop, and they are just the best of that bunch.

Other good brokers I've had experience with: PFG Best and MB Trading. MBT's commissions are just too high for me though; about double ATC's commission on GBP pairs for example.

Anyway, best wishes and hope that helps...

i am thinking full on about fxpro rht now, but do not know ..you people are worrying me on execution. yes i time my enteries waiting like a chameleon. execution is important to an extend, yes! Esp. when my tp can be anything from 10pips to 50pips (large size)

Further i would like some help here TC about minimum trading size on FXpro and Fxdd and thier maximum no of trades at one time too. ! can you help or do you know?

Hey guys..what do think about ECN NORD ...this broker is one which is rarely talked about. i know i am not searching ecn here
-why is this so?
-is this broker bad (in which case it should be well talked about..but not)

ATC is an IB for FXCM, but the significance is that ATC built an MT4 bridge so that you can have MT4 with an ECN broker. FXCM offers their own MT4, but it doesn't provide same liquidity and spreads as their primary ECN platform, which is what the ATC MT4 uses.

Search for threads here on ATC; are several I think. Complaints about FXCM are mostly old, although there are some recent ones too. All I can say is I've liked the trading I've done there with ATC, and I've used a LOT of brokers in my day.

Minimum trade size for FXDD is micro (0.01 lot), or $1000 lot size. Don't remember on FxPro, but I know they do minis (0.10), not sure on micro. I don't think there's any restriction on max number of orders but not sure.

For FXDD at least, just go to their website and click live chat and ask. That way you have also have a written transcript of everything they tell you.

Best wishes...

Are you sure it's their own bridge and not that dodgy Boston Technologies one? I only know one clean mt4-ecn bridge and that one is via Dukascopy.

I really don't know. Was just pointing out that it was an MT4 ECN option, and that was the reason for the IB relationship between ATC and FXCM. The starter of the thread had asked for clarification about that...

@TCEast
i still do not understand whats the point becoming IB of a broker.. will the Ib get commisions? Further if thats so generally it will mean IB is a small broker than the main broker..like ATC is an IB in this case? am i right in understanding things here..haven't dealt with IB's atleast till now.
What i can understand about Atc relationship with FXCM , from what you told is , If i signup thru ATC for FXCm, i will get better ECN like liquidity on my mt4 and may be even no dirty games (or less dirty game play)..is it?

Further the cashback site which you sent about rebates, gives fixed $ based rebates on all pairs for Fxpro. 2$ on majors..thats not much inviting in case i m goin to trade mutiple lots from 1 to 5 lots. thats like 0.2pip rebate .Pip based rebate with other brokers on the site seems to be good ...0.7 with fxdd. Any way do you know of any other reliable option? just in case i can check out!

Re. ATC, you still have an account with FXCM, and that's the account application you fill out and where you send your money. ATC simply "introduces" you as a client to FXCM, and yes they get a commission. But you are correct re. using them to be able to get MT4 with an ECN. You cannot get that going straight through FXCM (MT4 ECN). ATC have their own team of tech support guys just for supporting their MT4 that uses FXCM's ECN liquidity.

Re. rebates, it's different per broker. The "cashback" people are the IB in this case, and they are giving you a portion of the commission they receive from the broker (60% of it they claim). They have different deals worked out with different brokers, and are at the mercy of the broker essentially as to how much that is.

Don't know of a true ECN that offers micros and/or 400:1...

IB = Introducing Broker

They receive commissions for getting new clients for them. thats all, if they are claiming to give you better anything than the brokerage they are lying, they are like a sales agent, thats it. Absolutely nothing to do with the actual trading. It does not affect your cost because you pay it anyway to the broker.

For example:

"If you are not from the US or UK you should check out this brokerage, 300$ minimum micro account with no commissions, 2 pip locked spread on the EUR/US! and 3 on GBP/USD! They welcome robots and you do not need a licence to manage accounts, if you have a good robot you can even start a managed account and use the robot on it with no bridge!!"

Thats it, that's all you do as an IB. And the good ones have fancy web sites

ATC broker is not an IB for FXCM at all, ATC is a White label for FXCM. Fxcm is purely the liquidity provider. ATC has its own clients and the clients are not FXCm's. The clients orders are passed to FXCM via ATC (STP processor) as the liquidity provider.

Hope this clears some things up

Where do they get money to pay rebates? In my opinion, they refer you to the broker as an affiliate and gain their affiliate commission. They pay part of their profit to you. So! You can open your own affiliate account and gain your personal rebates.

Josef

That's not correct. ATC is an IB for FXCM. I know because I was a client there, and my account was with FXCM plain and simple.

If ATC are a WL of FXCM, then you are probably better off going directly to FXCM and getting an FXCM rebate - the highest I have seen is 1 pip...
