To be honest, my broker is not listed on the thread. But I got myself satisfied with this broker (HiwayFX) that offers a fast execution time for my order (under 20ms/order) which is good for scalping, and 24/5 support that is ready to answers any kind of problem I had. And so, this broker is regulated.

I trade a lot with Exness and Hotforex. I posted a lot of screenshot from real cash withdrawals I made with them, check the other threads.

Ive been doing considerable research recently on which broker has a reputable business, is reliable, tight spreads and solid charting software. The only one that stood out for me was LMAX who have a direct link to the inter bank rates. The rest fell far short. Problem for some is that you are required to deposit £6000 into your trading account

I prefered investment banks account, but as they've pulled out of retail bussines, I had to find retail broker with good clients money protection sheme.

I would say go with Activtrades or Dukascopy.

Activtrades is FCA regulated, has FSCS insurance up to 500.000 per person and negative balance protection.

Dukascopy is swiss bank (with russian owners?) so clients deposits are protected by Swiss government in the amount of 100.000 CHF www.einlagensicherung.ch/en

FXCM was the biggest broker in the retail game, but has serious financial problems after CHF adventure.

If you want to know who're dealing with, visit http://www.endole.co.uk/ You will be surprised in how bad financial shape most of the UK based retail forex brokers are.

Interactive brokers has -711.93m of current liabilities and 757.05m of total assets, so liabilities are a bit worrisome. Their currency margin requirements is also not very low - 2.5% (leveraged 40 to 1). If you're trading 100.000+ account that's OK if not it's not ideal.

I didn't know about their current liabilities, but your money would be insured up to 100k I believe, and besides that, they are a professional broker,
I know many pro traders are using them, if there is a concern of their assets then ok, maybe they should be researched a bit more before opening with them.

My vote goes to Pepperstone as well. Been with them for more than a couple of years now and find no reason to complain.

I wouldn't recommend trading with LMAX. They may be FCA-regulated but I encountered execution lags when trading with them last year.

IRONFX problem Am having terrible trouble with my broker ironfx they will not give me my money back the last transfer took 5 weeks 750 pounds only which is troubling. I havecomplained to CySEC who were totally useless the FCA said they were not responsible because it was a cyprus account my latest withdrawl has been 6 working days and i still do not have my money. Last time the money left my trading account but did not go in my bank for a week what were they doing with my money? So i would defo say only go with broker who is FCA regulated as you...

so , story teller, you started with 6k peanuts and grow that account to 45k peanuts in a cyprus regulated forex broker. congrats
The risk is what gives value to an investment.

IRONFX not releasing withdrawals is a bit of an old story, its been close to 6 months since problems withdrawing started, its more like a deposit only broker. you can check forexpeacearmy for steps to follow up on your withdrawal. though chances are very very slim..

I assume you're referring to LMAX. If that's their claim (an average speed of 4ms), my experience with using them last year would definitely refute that. Initially, the latency was OK, but at some point, I began to be frustrated with the slow execution especially since I was running their MT4 platform alongside two other brokers' at that time and could not help but notice the difference.

Where are you trading from ? Cause their servers are in the UK so t's obvious to experience "lags" if you trade from the other side of the world.
