Possibly an EJ bear setup? Triple top then a pull back candle along with TDI cross plus that monthly low as a resistance... I havent entered the trade yet because i am doubtful of my analysis. Hope to hear from your expert opinions!

Hi guys
Since I became a fan and also learnt a lot from you I thought to do something in return and upload this Heiken Ashi Smoothed Bar.mq4 indicator. I've found it to be useful. Take it, modify it if you wish, find it useful or just leave it here and please understand that I share it only because I hope it will be useful to someone. I didn't code it, just found it on the net.
The indi does exactly what it says, it shows the Heiken Ashi Smoothed in a separate window, which you can also squeeze to be a thin bar. So it doesn't take space. I prefer to use it as a normal window and load the TDI+Stochastic inside it, to save chart space, as you can see below.
The idea is to use the Heiken Ashi Smoothed as a trend detector, a confirmation for your trades. If it's green, buy only. If it's red, sell and the yellow bar indicates a doji, so stay alert

Hey Wattaman, the indi looks good but mine comes up as all yellow. Do you know why this might be?

There is no H1 triple top...
what you see is 3 bars having same high.

and you missed the divergence.

Not a good idea because you will miss the benefits of having the Synergy_APB on the price chart which can show you potential reversal, consolidation, momentum and strength.

Still haven't fully debugged all the things on my platform so not fully focussed on setups. We'll get there tho. I did just get lured into this trade:

I had 1H EURAUD chart open. FO bounced of prev low and 1.58 RN and LO broke a small trendline. Trading towards DOL and EMA isn't A++ however and trade did reject off 200EMA.

Price then pulled back during London Session towards the trendline and consolidated during lunch. (2x NR4IB) When I saw some momentum come back into the market I switched to 15M chart to look for an entry. Ofcourse this is still towards DOL and EMA

Entered on close of first blue (strong bullish) and prev bar also NR4IB. Price stopped quickly at yesterday low and reversed to get stopped out...

Obviously, I'm not really happy with this. Price should atleast break DOL I think before looking for a long setup but the bounce of 1.58 in a wide range market made me a bit greedy i think.

Very good shot of Gold manual move SL 1R when prire reach 1 R, R:R 1:5, so this trade can cover 5 loser.

i like this strategy(in the firts posts),in your possible is it possible to create an EA to open trades in 4h charts with the eelfranz rules with stochastic and TDI?(in the first post) and is it at least profitable this strategy?

as i am a very busy man i can't always monitor my trades. so, i am going to trade only 4 hours. i will look for TDI cross and other structure support and resistances to take the trade.
so, here is my first trade. oh well its a demo account.
ok i am short on audchf 4 hours. the pair has bounced from previous week high. there is a perfect TDI cross and i am looking for 50 pips.

Dear Emmanuel,

some thoughts on GJ this week:

  1. MN chart bearish outside bar
  2. W bearish candle

this week i think bias is bearish following the retracemnt of the last week bar.

The strategy with MEME this week would be to build positions until the 61.8% ret of last week.

The retr. now reached the 78.6% ret. How would u manage the trade?

i had opened 2 positions for 25 pips each. both of them got hit so total profit 50 pips.

Hi Bordy,

We first be careful with this pair because the Average Weekly Range is between 350 pips and 410 pips. The recent 2 weeks was above 700 pips and there was Black Monday.
How to manage depends on :-
- your initial open position price level,
- the number of ME positions planned (usually max 4 pos) and the distance (in pips) used.
- the position size of each ME position.

How many positions have you opened?
Depending on the price action, I would normally close oldest positions when I find the opportunity to. Remember one rule is to "cut losses short". You need to look at your equity and balance all the time.

If you already have 5 open positions since Monday till today, and you have not close any oldest positions, where is your breakeven level? Try to breakeven some open positions at the next opportunity. Do not wait.

Should the market retraces further higher above the 78% closer to the 90%, you have to decide to cut all losses as there is trade invalidation.

Setting the color for the indi bars, maybe? Start from my template and modify it for your needs. I decided to load the Stoch behind it to save space and also because I am only interested in the overbought/oversold areas - anything else is a distraction imo
If you don't like the looks go to the setting (see below) and enter 0 for Fixed min/max

By the way, this changes nothing from the original Eelfranz' strategy. It's just an addon that helps me confirm the right trend. If you think it is rather distracting or making you lose trades, don't use it

When you say H1 price was in Conflict with H4, you only look at color of the previous H4 candle?

When there is an uptrend for the whole week and if u get an opportunity to short you wouldn't do it?

You take trade when all the three (Red, Green and Yellow MBL) goes in the same direction?

I couldn't consistently win by following this method, your help would really appreciated.
