Ballistical, if one were to trade from a daily chart, what would the EMA be? 8? If 8, it seems too fast.Thx!

It is not that simple. I do not know if you have read all of Big E' posts. But first read this post#647 below and see what you make out of it.

Your safest trades will always be when green crosses red and you enter on candle 1 or 2... odds are in your favor. Why? Because I'm expecting 3-8 candles... which is average...

With bounce trades the odds are lower for your success... but it still works.

When wanting to enter a TDI trade... take a moment first to observe basic 4x things... like:

How close am I to the previous high or lo

Am I in an uptrend or downtrend.. short & long term...

Am I in or close to a consolidation area

Are the previous candles small...

Look at the candles on the last reversal... big, little, what

How does the momentum look right now (12-2, 4-6)

Does Stoch's confirm the TDI signal

Sounds like a lot of stuff but it's basic stuff and only takes a moment to observe it...

If you don't already know these things... don't trade live yet... www.babypips.com is a good place to learn about the basics of trading 4X.

If you trade the way Big E trade as he wrote in Post#1, then use the 5EMA set to Typical Price, Shift+3.

or you can use the 10EMA, set to Close, Shift=0.

10EMA is use in all timeframes.

to find high probability trade setups, you need to zoom out on the chart.
or you take a look at the charts with a top down approach - MN and W1 for the big picture, then look at D1 and H4.
Do this even when you trade lower TF like H1.

Lost in GN/GA yesterday was totally not in synced with the PA last night. Something I need to learn and grasp quickly.

Back into the game, I am seeing EUR/NZD with a good H4 setup this morning

Excellent trading Ballistical. The explanation is right on spot. The 200EMA is 50EMA for H4 and 10EMA for Daily, so it covers overall trend for H1 trading. Knowledge and at least 3 years experience is required to trade TMS with simplicity in my opinion. After first year we should start to read the PA and TDI signal correctly and rest is correcting your errors along the way until it become second nature to trade TMS..

Good day all.
I have my eye on the following pairs;
G/J E/J G/U E/U
all 4 of them look as if the green is wanting to cross red on TDI on 4H.
E/U has already crossed.
looking left G/J is at a support / resistance area.

Any comments?

It is reacting to the August MN high and you may get some pips out of this market reaction.
I don't see the divergence on H4 as a valid one. there are too many period between the two peaks you draw that divergence.
Any potential divergence based on the current market price structure will be likely in the D1 chart when the RSI momentum fails to catch up with the price momentum. Wait and see how the market will react at the BRN 1.1000 on D1 chart. Need to see a swing high on D1 (5 bars).

these pairs are in market correction, so better we have a Plan A and Plan B.

I would love it if this pair continue to move this way... sideways wide range is perfect for TMS 5-Method 4H swing trading.

Each swing is 3 to 8 candles and 500 to 600 pips range.

For Kiwi lovers:

We now see reaction at the BRN 0.6400 and recent swing high.
I will wait till I see if there is CONFLUENCE of different 'support and resistance' before I take an sell setups on either D1 and H4.

I use the original template , trade only h4 and D1 in TMS . Below these timeframes ,
Im not keen with TMS but its a personal thing .. H4 +D1 are good for me and it work fine .

we can always scalp the H4 TDI cross setups like the way Big E did.
but we must make sure to see that the APB#1 and APB#2 candles have price momentum in them to push for some pipe quickly.
get out when the price pulls back and TDI goes flat.

I like EA, GA , EJ ,( GJ only watching itīs new to my list )EU and GU and sometimes the DAX .

It depends on the timezone , where you live/trade .
The NZD pairs are just tooooo early for me .
I īm from central Europe and normally I trade only in the morning to be closed until the US news after lunch time

I donīt trade every day, because I have a company and when I come late from work , I wonīt get up early ..
14 hours a day is enough with work !

the last weeks I loaded some TMS Charts here , but during the summer holiday time , all my trading wasnīt that good ..
Until Xmas my account should get the next boost in my favour .

For learning , Emmanuell shows incredible good stuff, well explained .
Iīd say learn from the best .. and he counts to the best IMO ... I know a lot of profitable traders ,
But during the summer holiday time a stable equity courve , I know only 2 of them ..

emmanuel could you tell me what went wrong with this TDI cross? the price was at prev week high and the TDI was also overbought. so, why we had this ?

yes i am trying to follow the big picture but the charts get messier. thank you for the guidance.
