Hello this question is to someone on this thread that trades oil at the present time.

If I were to trade oil with the TDI method on a 4 hour chart what size of stop loss should I be using.

GBPUSD M15 +25
Price had stalled on the H1 so dropped down to M15. Price rejected off previous month low (S/R) and the entry APB broke away from the RN. Nice TDI cross with green, red and MBL all heading in the same direction. TP set just below BRN.

EURGBP H1 +25
Could be regarded as a late entry. However, the criteria where that price had broken below previous local support and that EURUSD had stalled and GBPUSD was rising thereby pushing price down as EU and GU were in opposition. Again good TDI cross with all lines going in the same direction. TP set to just above RN (nice little earner $per pip)

Please, can you share your BRN and previous highs&lows indicators?

EU TP hit.
I really do not believe it's done Is this TDI cross - just a reversal\retracement at BRN??? I'd never take this conter-trend (blue SR line) at live account.
Ideas?

Well done.
The reasons I didn't take the trade when you did where.
1. Price had been bouncing off YH and 50ema for the duration of the first red APB.
2. DOL was directly below price.
3. There was local S/R (Asian channel) and a rising trend line.
4. The red and green TDI were not heading in the same direction.
To me the trade was too higher risk for the reward but you proved that fortune can favor the brave.
Indicators are BN Levels v1.02 and Daily-Weekly-Monthly Hi-Low4 in the paperclip

DOTS suggest the trade entry, SL and TP levels.
Today EA is a good example how you can use London Open to trade.
I find the TP levels to be conservative and they get reached often.

usually when we trade H1, we use the 2xATR(10) for our initial SL.
But when trading the majors - AU, EU and GU, a SL of about 30 pips on H1 is possible when we pick the setup with good price momentum and timing well.
For the EURxxx and GBPxxx, a SL of between 50pips to 100pips will work most of the time.


Note: H4 requires larger SL.

can someone please tell me that why shorting this pair was not a good idea? the price bounced at the 50ema on h1

RN indicator is BN Levels v1.02 in the paperclip.
Your trade was against a bullish move since Asian Open and in conflict with H4 which was also bullish. If you want to take that sort of trade drop down to the M15 and see if it has any potential.

Missed the entry this morning so waited for the retrace. Entered after the break of the BRN and the usual NY move. TP set below previous S/R to the left.

I enter on next candle, after that red, and TDI green line cross ride line, but this is false signal... Why? What im doing wrong?
