i dont know where china has pegged it exactly. it has bounced a little after the 173 drop.. eu seems to be going the same way..

In risk-off environment USDCNH (CNH being funding ccy) may go down - Tokyo is already showing risk averse.

that's expensive. i lean toward a drop because they have already spent lots of reserves...anyway, lets see what the market says in 7 min.. if it drops, eu has gone up recently on drop. strong yen can happen with it
