Seriously:
I am looking to make an EA, which has some "magic edge", it trades M1 or H4 I don't care really, but have an 52% ratio at R1:1.
I made a couple and failed, here is why:
- I made it and added some custom prams. For example a Cross EMA system has an EMA or 5 and other 25. (Not EMA, but in this days I wrote like 6 other and the same is the situation)
- I saw my initial params aren't a winner, so I have optimized it. - at EURD/USD
- with optimization the first problem is the to few data at MT4 the second is the single currency pair at one time, the second is the multi timeframe: Look at M1-M5 chart while keeping the H4, D1 candles, so at the tester are the M1-M5 control points, which is a way to few history for D1
- Then I switched to GBP/USD and it was a huge negative or a minor positive, so the conclusion isn't something good here.
- switched the time frame: from super profit again small or negative.

Personally I believe in Support-Resistance ZONE and not a level like this:

I know it isn't a rule, but sometimes is touching 1x and bounce it, other time just breaking without pullback
Also the same with Pivots: sometimes "is safe" to short at R2 or R3 others is bypassed R3 too , like this China stock market circus.
I was thinking on the different candle setups at higher timeframe ( H4-W1) like Pinbar .

Finally I gave up

I just want to find a currency and a timeframe anda setup which is working and I can trust it a bit.

If an optimised value of a system it gives 6400% from Jan 1, 2015 and I change a few parameters a bit and it has -80% that is not good enough.

I would like to have daily 1 trade , and weekly 2 expected.
