If it is, we'll have a pretty good idea around 1.1460- whether or not it blows through, 1.1684 is more often than not a good low risk short, as it's the last spot to short before the high...and often a spot that bulls get their nuts cut off by bears.

I guess the answer was bounce up from 1.1124?

I hope we get another jump up over 1.15 in the next days and before the FED 9/17th decision .

Draghi didn't help the Eur at all but not sure such a strong dollar can sustain for so long and china might get into selling USD a lot.

In any case I have placed a safe sell under 1.1080 if we go through it I have all positions covered and I can wait up until we go up again

I have to say in my personal experience answering to the tread .

when I have had and placed stop I have lost a lot more then when I havent and have managed risked and just waited for it to come back , sometimes three months
but I am working my head around whats best . probably best to cover the position cash as much as possible going opposite and then get the gain from the first position . But you need to have a lot of control to accept it was a bad trade and you shall cover it as quick as possible .IMHO.

its not Friday anymore before lows,, it has since bounced. the milk spoils with a 90 pip bounce after. its less attractive 60 pips higher..
miss pips posted a chart Thursday or Wednesday. i still use 1453/0474 myself and its subs like 0964 and 1209... 1/2 way = 1086

are you thinking it will keep falling down to the 1.08 level or bouncing back up to 1.1684 ?

You can have 20- five pip losses (with better leverage) for the same price as one 100 pip loss, with the access to the capital you wouldnt have @ 100 pip draw down.

More often than not you know when the trade has gone wrong well before you have to start managing it. When you're wrong you're wrong....why prolong and hope and second guess yourself

I am just talking by my own experience , when I started on etoro at 400 leverage and beleive me guys in two days I doubled my investment but the third day out of ignorance stupidity and greed I lost all of the win and half my investment , at that time thouhg I had not watched the market for a year every day , I soon understood I needed another broker and I also though understood so many trades would have not been a loss If I only had waited , on etoro you can t free float they put you a stop .

now I have another broker and the strategy has worked out so far , now two weeks ago when the eu shot up I managed to close a veery bad trade I had done two months ago , and stupidly though I did other more stupid trade blowing my rules so now I am having to hold onto it until we go back around 1.15 min . I promised myself I ll take a break after that as now I won't be sleeping until we get there again ...... I am though still confident I can work it out and this year I have had a six months golden that recovered all I had lost for stupid margin call and internet not letting me put more.

Anyway as long as I get at least to 1.1331 I am in a lot less danger .

eventually 1.08 and less. but atm i am not short because things are muddy (china syndrome) and we were at a eu s/r and near ej major s/r..

and then I ll take off my hands this EU USD , is too much of a political game , I should have listened to my teacher .... don't trade the EU USD is too political and its right , one news fucks up all technical analysis in a sec, plus I am sure a lot of people knows this news before and they make shit loads of money in few min ....

Yes but this is not gambling, sure it can be compared to things of the nature but a farmer isn't a gambler, there are fundamental aspects which influence the price of an exchange rate which determine the value of one currency price against another. Analyzing historical data to make decisions is not gambling. Trading is not gambing. Trading is Trading. End of story.

ITs now been 6 months of resistance around here could it not bounce back up at least around 1.15 ?

sure if one ignores the definition of gambling. we can make it all sound pretty to our wife's and ministers. a carpenter goes to work for the day. he is paid for his work. they dont usually deduct the workers pay. if the house sells for less then the builder expected. the carpenters pay is mostly set at a wage, no mater what. a trader or the builder takes the risk/gamble.

of course the carpenter can fall and break a leg or die. that's his risk. its not a monetary risk/gamble like a trader or a builder.
