Well THAT up move didn't last long.

Technically still looks like a long to me - taking on small position here.

Some nagging doubts about it fundamentally - catalyst for a rally in the EURUSD would be probably along the lines of Fed delaying their hike or being extremely dovish - but the setup for this would be for a risk-off scenario... In which case one would expect the EUR and JPY to be sold down to unwind carry trades (as mentioned by Tom earlier).

looking to long 1211/1200. 00:00 close was above 1207x.. ny was below its 1222 close.. so it does conflict. depends how one views it. august candle was a higher close above april, using 00:00. the usual nfp prepump and a norm at 14xx. i will try to wait for a pump if possible up there. plus we got 2 weeks to wait on fed.

The general trend turned into bullish but we have to wait till this bearish counter move ends. (Butterfly or Cypher pattern on 1H pushes traders for 2nd target in lower areas below 1.1265.. towards 1.1150/25 areas. So take 1.1265/50 area as a pivot of today and trade short below and long above. Overall buying the dips is safer.
