is this just an obvious move on the FED to lower the currency's before their big hike?

I expect huge bounce to 121 or above 121....

More like the unwinding of those who thought the fed would be hiking soon.

If anything China dragging on the world economy will push off the fed to next year.

I have to admit that I was not expecting so big drop, and for consequence I inquire some lost because this trigger my STOP LOST, I would like to ask to some of the most experience and season members, what would be the reason of this drop?

I know that that the following might help to the development of this drop:

· Oil barrel wen below $40 USD
· China devalues it currency the Yuan.
· Stock market “Dows” Plunge.
· China Stock market Crash.
· Federal Reserve delays increase in Interest rates.

Or what could it be, the USD/JPY fell breaking support after support.

If Asia session follows Dow's downturn we may see 116.00 again I guess.

I think there is no simple answer to your question. This big fall on UJ was accompanied by a similar but not quite so big rise on EU.

The rise on EU is easier to explain, the stock markets in all the European countries which I looked at on that day were falling by a relatively huge amount, about 3 times more than a typical plunge. When that happens the Euro currency comes into short supply and the price rises. This has a side-effect of weakening the US$.

However, if you look at EJ at the same market instant, 13:00 GMT, EJ fell 220 pips at least. That means there was also a strong demand for Yen at a time when the Japanese should all have been asleep (apart from the night-clubbers).

At 13:00 GMT UJ dropped about 350 pips, after dropping more than 200 pips in the hours since market open. So it looks like a case of a lack of liquidity spiking Yen strength, and maybe some panic amongst US players ... not to mention a number of people here on FF

Just watching the market now ... the spread on UJ is relatively huge ... considering America, UK and Europe are all open for business.

Seems that the short-term "rising-wedge" resistance could restrict the immediate USDJPY up-move.

they'll probably use gdp numbers to breakout into the fibo retracement 61.8 you got there at least that's what i believe since they need to close every trade before tomorrow because of the next uncertain monday open.. so they might go and squeeze this and then close their positions making this fall to the fibo leverl 38.2..
I wish this reall would happen since i've made preparations for it aha
