It's the first monthly low before a significant correction occurred....and, when looking at lower time frames, the market has respected the levels of this projection reasonably well.


BTW...The S&P has (obviously with hindsight) hit a bounce point here.

Careful with EU shorts. Remember EU likes to take a last stab in direction of 1H trend before changing course. I'm still looking for longs, but just got stopped out BE after ABCD down completion at 1576.... if temp bottom here around 1562, then expect at least up to 50% retrace, 1638.

when uj spiked down you would think all other xxx/usd pair would spike up. nope, aussie and kiwi spiked down. this means euro and yen were bought against all other currencies, more so than against the us dollar

Panic in markets is the main cause. Global growth concerns most recently had their fires fanned by China. Risk off then moved westward thru financial markets and currencies are reacting to the money flows; ie money is coming out of risk funding currencies (euro & yen) and either disappearing (due to losses in equities/commodities) or waiting.
